5 Reasons Why You Should Play The Elder Scrolls Online

Many gamers are skeptical about the upcoming Elder Scrolls Online game because it is the first game in the series that turned into an MMO. Players have gone from the lands of Morrowind, all the way to Skyrim, and are hoping for another great title. Let's look at five of the top reasons you might want to play this new MMO.

1. Massive Maps

If there is anything that Skyrim showed us, it's that Bethesda knows how to create a massive world full of depth and surprise. This is the reason that Skyrim was able to come to life for players, and we can expect the same thing in the Elder Scrolls Online. The Elder Scrolls Online will feature every other game's map, as well as several additions to the world.

2. Graphics

There are a lot of MMO games that cannot run on the best graphics aspect to keep the game running smoothly. Zenimax Online doesn't plan on needing to do this, and you can expect stellar graphics similar to previous games.

3. Epic StorylineAs with every Elder Scrolls game, the storyline has always been in-depth and rich. Also, as with every game, you will once again start as a prisoner and must free yourself before gaining power. Eventually, your character will be fighting for the White Gold Tower through PvP to become the Emperor. Now that you know how the story begins and ends, you'll have to play the game to find out how you'll get there!

4. Lore of the Land

Each individual game has had lore go pretty in-depth about each races, which there never seemed to lack of. You can expect to see these races return to the land, as well as hundreds of new ones, each with their own story. As the hero of the story, it is your job to help these people by completing quests and learning about their ways.

5. Gameplay Mechanics

In previous games, players have always had to fight by themselves to finish quests or slay large beasts. However, this isn't how MMOs work. In the Elder Scrolls Online, there are some interesting gameplay mechanics added to get players to work together, rather than apart. There will actually be synergies between certain abilities that used together by classes in the elder scrolls, will create a devastating blow.
