RS Roaming Minibosses

When you hear Strong Monster what comes to your mind? Maybe special attacks, high stats or other good things? However, there is one common theme that is a bit of unfortunate "locked away". All of those bosses and elite monsters are either in lairs of their own and typically spawn quickly in the exact same spot to be farmed by a stronger player or group.

So I have some other new ideas to break that mold. Before the detailed suggestion, you should see the common traits the monsters will have.

They all have multiple spawn points. This means that even if people know that the monster is respawning, they likely won't be able to instantly pounce on it.

Their wander radii are massive. This way they take a bit of time to find even with knowledge of their spawn points, allows them to potentially stumble upon players, and to chase for awhile. These wander radii could potentially include some skilling areas, but there would be precautions in place to prevent it from getting out of hand such as warping back to a spawn point if they were left in a skilling area for too long without being in combat.

The mosnters are strong, but not necessarily incredibly complex. They should be possible for both EOC and Legacy, and soloable content for stronger playerss who know the tricks to fighting them, in line with something like Demon Mobs, where many people bring help but some choose to solo.

These are not new raid bosses, but some stronger foes with a few tricks to keep the fights interesting. Not all combat styles would be equal for all bosses, and some are harder than others.

So here is the desert region, the Sentinel of Uzer. During the wars which brought the city of Uzer to its knees, the Sentinel marched out to face the armies of demons. Its sole purpose was victory, and no command had been given for a course of action to take in the event of defeat.

It succeeded in vanquishing its owns fores, but the city fell to others. Defeat could not be comprehended, so the Sentinel continued to hunt demons until none could be found in the desert. In modern times its armor has become more resilient and its power faded, but it is still a RuneScape gold danger and has turned to attacking more than demons as a precaution against future invaders.

Well, we cannot tell you details any more. If you were interested at that, you can log in to the Runelabs and support us RS Goldthere. Glad to see your feedbacks.
