Paladin Leveling Guide - Holy Palading Leveling Guide & Talent Spec

The Paladin class has never really the best class for leveling quickly in WoW. There are a couple of decent leveling builds available to the Paladin though which will certainly make leveling a bit easier.

The best builds for a Paladin leveling build are the Holy build and Protection build although the Retribution build is feasible too. The build you choose should reflect upon how you want to engage in the game, for instance dungeon leveling as a healer or solo leveling with lots of DPS.

In this article we'll take a look at a well rounded build suitable for solo leveling and dungeons.

For this build I would suggest primarily to follow the Holy build with a slight hybrid of Protection and Retribution for improved accuracy and damage dealt.

In the Holy tree you can leave out the following talents as they are not that great for leveling scenarios and the talent points can be better spent in the other talent trees. The talents to skip are Speed of Light, Infusion of Light and Last Word.

You'll want to move down the talent tree as fast as possible and scoop up the better abilities. You can always skip certain abilities to progress and come back to them. In my particular build I assigned talent points to all the available talents except the 3 mentioned above. However I only assigned 1/3 talent points to Protector of the Innocent and 1/2 to Paragon of Virtue.

Once your Holy build is complete you'll be about level 69 where you'll now be ready to switch to the Retribution tree and take some of the awesome abilities available there. This will help improve the damage dealt by the Paladin as well as improve accuracy, both of which certainly help for leveling purposes.

For this particular Holy Paladin leveling guide I would suggest taking the Improved Judgement and Crusade abilities in tier 1 of the tree before moving down and taking the Pursuit of Justice ability.

You'll want to assign all the available talent points to each of the Retribution abilities mentioned before moving onto the Protection tree. There's just one ability to take here which is going to compliment the Holy Paladin leveling build nicely.

Here you just want take Seals of the Pure and assign both available talent points. At this stage you should have leveled 85 and have a nice build that will see you through well. The nice bonus of this build is it is quite flexible too. It can cope fairly decent in PvP scenarios and really does go well for both solo leveling and dungeon leveling.
