Xbox 360 Games: Asuras Wrath

Do you love Xbox 360 games and anime? If the answer is yes you gotta get this game. Let me say it again; If you are an anime fan and you haven't played Asura's Wrath then boy are you missing out. The 3 act game features an angry god, Asura, whose epic rampage is depicted in truly astounding anime graphics. Throughout the game you have to fight your fellow guardians, creatures spawned by the earth spirit, wannabe gods, and other deities including your father who you battle on the lunar surface in stunning episodic style.

The dialogue can either be set to Japanese with English subtitles for an authentic experience or to English if you aren't into that kinda stuff. As Xbox 360 games go the controls rock, with features like controlling each foot separately and tasks that require synchronizing your actions; mildly reminiscent of Chrono Trigger, a ps2 game. The better your timing the better your performance and damage, etc.

Included in the experience are tons of concept art and unlockable cinematic effects that totally blow your mind. Additionally, between sequences there are scenes composed of amazing original art continuing the storyline and filling in the blanks. The graphics in Xbox 360 games lend themselves to episodic storylines and game play is fun and easy to learn.

This game is a truly visual experience that could be described as amazing. It comes off as a full feature cinematic experience that is as fun to watch as it is to play. A must-play game for any and all anime fans, for sure. Asura's Wrath will undoubtedly be one of the best genre based Xbox 360 games ever.

The developer CyberConnect2 and Capcom, a legend in the arena of PS3 and Xbox 360 games, announced the game's release date 2011. With minimal hiccups the game shipped to stores on February 21, 2012 and saw fans rushing to stores. Capcom released the game in only one edition, but a Limited Edition Asura's Wrath Bobble Budd comes with the purchase. The game is available at numerous online locations, including Amazon, Gamestop, and of course Capcom's site.

The company says their plans for the game's immediate future include at least two sets of downloadable content that revolve around between-the-scenes action from the game. More DLC is in the works and they haven't alluded yet as to what that may encompass.

Downloadable content for Xbox 360 games is a popular attraction for game junkies these days and they say players will also get to battle Street Fighter characters in a Street Fighter vs Asura's Wrath edition of the popular fighting game. When the DLC and Street Fighter will be released is still hush hush, but fans will get an update soon enough!

When it comes to genre inspired Xbox 360 games, Asura's Wrath is definitely top of the pile. Don't worry PS3 gamers Asura's Wrath was also launched in all it's splendor for PS3.
