Rift Runecrafting Trainers | Locations And Tips

Currently there are four different times when you will need to visit a Rift runecrafting trainer. Before you even begin your path as a runecrafter you will need to visit a trainer. When you visit the trainer for the first time you will be accepting runecrafting as one of your professions this means you will only be able to choose two other professions if you haven’t already chosen any.

All other professions require two gathering skills to obtain raw materials in which to craft with. Thankfully you can train in runecrafting with no need for additional profession slots to be used up. Keep in mind there are different trainers for each of the different skill levels and for Defiants/Guardians.

To begin your path in rift runecrafting, you will need to visit the Novice trainer. They will be able to train you enabling you to go from 0-75 in runecrafting, The cost for Novice training is the same for both defiants and guardians at just 10s. Keep in mind that is only to train for the ability to skill in runecrafting each recipe will cost you extra.

For Novice training Guardians should head to Argent Glade in Silverwood and seek out Reynold Curry at location 6032,3019. Defiants need to go to Kelari Refuge in Freemarch and seek out Eldrek Sazz at location 6573,4608. As you progress through 0-75 the Rift runecrafting trainer will offer you more and more recipes. So keep checking back and make sure you have all of the runecrafting recipes before moving on to the next area.

Once you hit 75 in runecrafting you will need to switch to a new trainer location. As with Novice training the next training level which is called Skilled will take you another 75 skill points, going from 75-150. To train up to Skilled, Guardians and Defiants will need to head to Gloamwood Pines in Gloamwood and seek out Loghain Firescribe at location 5131,3223. To train in Skilled runecrafting you will also need to pay 50s.

The next teir of runecrafting is Expert. It costs 2g 50s to train in Expert runecrafting and that will take you from 150-225. Guardians will head to The Sagespire in Scarwood Reach and seek out Sasha Nicadon at location 2594,3541. Defiants will need to go to The Manufactory in Meridian and find Dion Verca at location 5970,5233.

The last runecrafting trainer currently in rift is to train you as a Master 225-300. This training costs 12g 50s and also a considerable amount in recipes. Guardians and Defiants need to visit Jonni Merrill at location 7629,6301 in Lantern Hook, Droughtlands.

The location of rift runecrafting trainers pretty much follow the basic pattern of Rift leveling zones. Chances are you will have at one point run into your trainer while leveling. Unless you decided to save all your professions till you hit max level.
