Secret and Truth Behind the Rummy Game

Rummy is a card game, in Indian with some difference from rummy is modulated and later it is called as Indian rummy. Indian rummy game played with 13 cards and the combination should be with one pure sequence and one with open joker card if joker card process avails. If open joker is not set than should made one pure sequence and one sequences with printed joker or else two sequences should be in pure to meld the card to hit the show.

Rummy Origin Theories

Rummy game, we know that plenty of history and theories behind it and still don’t know the proper origin for rummy game. In that three theories are most preferable for the rummy they are:  China theory, Poker theory and Spanish theory.

China theory

Rummy is mostly relevant to “Chinese Theory”. The game from Chinese called Mah Jong one among the games which has same similarity to rummy. Mah Jong played with tiles where rummy played with cards. Second similar game called Khanhoo, which show the similarity of combination of sequences and group to set the run to hit the game play. Chinese theory brought up the drawing and discard process. Some people say that rummy game process completely from Chinese card game.

Poker theory

Rummy originated from poker, this fact is due to two game with same similarity like combination of card in sequences as per order. Poker and rummy are similar in combining of sequence and groups. Only with the similarity we can’t say rummy game  derived from poker. Poker the game found by French people. The winner of game declared through combining and run set. So the history of rummy is closely connected to poker history.

Spanish theory

As per Spanish theory, like all says rummy comes from the game called Conquian. Spanish theory is also called as Conquian theory. Spanish game is almost similar to gin rummy which is accepted as modern rummy game. It was popularly known by the name of Coon-Can, Coon-King or Conkin. Later on, the game journeyed to England, where it got the name ‘Rum’.

Really it’s up to the persons to take the truth which is theory behind the rummy game. All the above show the similarity like drawing and discards, Combination of sequences, group and run set. The winner declared through the low ranker with maximum number of hit the show.

Rummy cannot be unique game same as it doesn’t have any base for it. Origin for online rummy is not set with particular theory or history it may depends on one other, therefore it difficult to know the real origin for rummy game. The theories and history based on real, that cannot be omitted but the truth is rummy has no particular origin or theory. It come from direct or might be from those theories and history.
