The Krpyt in Mortal Kombat X is where you unlock various rewards including concept art and extra Fatalities for characters. Some of the tombs are worth opening and others are not. This guide will help you find the tombs you should open and the ones you can skip until later!
I am doing this as I get coins so check back later for more info! Down in the right corner you can see a number when you are at a tombstone. This is the number I will use to cover the tombstone we are opening. I’d focus on skins and fatalities before anything else.
These are items you should be focusing on getting to unlock new areas in the Krypt. If you don’;t have access to the location yet it can wait but once you gain access focus on them first!
5, 11 Shadow Spider Kave – Raiden’s Staff can be found here. Raiden’s staff is used at Elder Chasm (20,19).
-13, 19 Walkway Of Souls – Scorpion’s Spear is in this tomb. You use Scorpion’s Spear at The Scorpion Pit (18,14).
-7, 12 Chamber Of Bones – You can Kung Lao’s Hat here. Kung Lao’s hat is used at Bridge Overlook (-10,21).
-18, 10 Scorpion Pit – You get the Spider Gem here. You can use Spider Gem Spider Gem Hold.
6, 30 Widow’s Pass – Reptiles Claw can be found at the tomb. Reptiles claw used at Acid Falls (-5,28).
5, 40 Shadow Spider’s Hive – Kenshi’s Sword can be found in this Tomb. Kenshi’s Sword used at Hollow Ground (-2,21).
-21, 20 Frost Path – Sub Zero’s Iceball is in this Tomb. Subzero’s Iceball used at Lin Kui Katacomb (-8,14).
0, 7 Shao Kahn’s Tomb – Liu Kang’s Fireball is in this Tomb. Lui Kang’s Fireball used at White Lotus Temple (-20,4).
5, 18 Grotto Of Gore to the Dark Pass – Ermack’s Hover Ability item is found in this area. Ermac’s Hover Abilitiy is used at The Spiked Pits (9,14).
0, 12 Kahn’s Stronghold – Jax’s rocket launcher is found here. Jax’s rocket launcher used at Shrine Entrance (-11,12).
Where To Find Kamidogu Kamidogu is gotten from betting 10k at the Shrine Of The Dead. Kamidogu used at the nether gate (-24,18).
Krypt Gateway -1, 2 Tombstone – Opening this one will get you a new Fatality for Kotal Kahn, called “Tight Squeeze”
Krypt Gateway 1, 2 Tombstone – This is a skip fight token for Story mode, you can avoid this stone until you have all the ones you want.
