Final Fantasy XIV Heavensward launches later this month, and currently, the pre-orders for the digital download version of Heavensward have began already in North America. With the approaching of FF14 Heavensward, Yoshi-P recently addressed the concerns many players have with the story and its accessibility.
Pre-order Heavensward on PlayStation Store now
The pre-orders of the digital download version of Heavensward have already been live in North America. But, due to a technical issue, players who upgraded from the PS3 version of FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn to the PS4 version are currently unable to purchase the Heavensward expansion pack on the PlayStation Store?. The issue is under checking. People who never participate in PS upgrade campaign are not affected.
The story and accessibility changes in Heavensward
Last week, the Producer unveiled Heavensward new Dungeon Crawl and jobs. As the time goes, people cannot wait to step onto this expansion. So many of them have concerns with the game story and accessibility. For these issues, Yoshi-P clarified as below:
1. Equipment rewards will be added to the Main Scenario quests to help people reach the item level requirements for duties at least.
2. Players new to a given duty will be placed in a priority queue (at least you can go straight to the front of the line) so that they can do the required content without endlessly queuing.
3. Pre-50 main scenario quests will give double experience so you don’t have to do side content, and if you own Heavensward you’ll get experience from the 2.1-2.55 quests as well, so you can get a few levels before even entering Ishgard.
4. If you want to skip ahead with improvements, you can have a level 60 player rush you through the old content quickly.
Do you still feel that Heavensward’s story requirements are a huge barrier to entry for new players? If you want a try, pre-order Heavensward expansion and purchase ffxiv gil for sale on Safewow to prepare.
