Skyforge Open Beta Begins

 

Skyforge is a free-to-play 3rd-person MMORPG developed by the Mail.ru Group’s Allods Team in collaboration with Obsidian Entertainment and published by Mail.Ru and its subsidiary My.com for selected markets. The game’s Open Beta begins at 16/7/2015.

 

Skyforge Story

In Skyforge the story begin in a free world Aelion which protected by a powerfully god Aeli. But now the god Aeli has vanished, without Aeli’s protection, Aelion has become a target for the armies of hostile gods, who wish to gain control of a new world of followers and build their own order. Players protect Aelion from the armies of hostile gods, gain the prestige, renown, and followers of their own. Eventually, Players becoming a god themselves.

 

Skyforge Classes

 

In Skyforge, player takes on a larger than life role as an immortal with incredible powers battling to protect their world from the armies of hostile gods, eventually becoming a god themselves. The game launched 10 classes: Archer, Berserker, Kinetic, Necromancer, Slayer, Gunner, Warlock / Witch, Monk, Alchemist and Knight. Other 3 classes: Lightbinder, Paladin and Cryomancer have to be unlocked for play right from the start. Skyforge features a “prestige” system which allows Skyforge players to develop and switch to multiple classes, this system subverted traditional MMORPGs. This system allows players the freedom to develop and play any class they’ve unlocked.

In Skyforge, the player’s primary abilities are focused on the left and right mouse buttons so movement and combat are seamlessly blended and easy to learn.

 

Skyforge New packs

If you are a player who long-term attention to Skyforge, you will find the founder packs which are now gone. But don’t worry, the game company released highly anticipated Collectors Editions! These Collectors Editions come in two variations – Starter Pack ($14.99) and Wardens of the Wasteland ($59.99), which are similar with the founder packs, in fact, the Wardens of the Wasteland pack is better than the founder packs. Beserker and Gunner are no longer purchasable, but you can now get the Knight and the Alchemist from the Collectors Edition in the real money shop, with a mount that will stay with you forever. The argents themselves are worth about $20, while the rest of the bonuses are worth around $10. I think this is a good deal for the players.

 

If you download the Skyforge client early, and you want to play now, you have to download the latest patch. This is the Patch Notes from the office website “Additional text localization changes for English, French and German! Implemented additional English voice over lines Removed words which blocked certain names for avatars and Pantheons that should not have been blocked.”
