My WoW Mists of Pandaria Review - Is It Enjoyable Or Not?

Close to the ending of Cataclysm - the mmorpg last expansion - online players seemed less lively than before, with seemingly nothing left to see and no remaining boss left to eliminate.

Enter Mists of Pandaria, the MMO's 4th expansion, which doesn't just raise the player's levels to 90, but perhaps all their spirits. A fresh playable race has been put in, new lands to discover, a new character cl[censored] and some other features that allow your average gamer significantly more to do even at the highest level.

The expansion comes after the ongoing battle escalating among the Alliance and the Horde in Azeroth, as the two sides race to manage the resources of a brand new isle called Pandaria. Its occupants are panda-like creatures, Pandarens, that love foods, brew and martial arts. Players beginning as a Pandaren start off in a small village surrounded by mountains. While they make their way through each starting area, they will uncover that home is in fact on the backside of a big sea turtle. They also find they are the last hope to help save the life of this turtle.

Once completing a sequence of starting area quests, players are offered the option to join either the Alliance or the Horde. Along with the new Pandaren race, a brand new cl[censored] has been presented: the versatile monk. They can use martial art expertise to help eliminate their adversaries or take a position at the front of the fight taking a beating while other players take down the opponent. Lastly, they can use their ancient knowledge of the healing arts to help their allies. With skills like martial art kicks and rolls, playing a monk has added in more detail to the player cl[censored] chart since the Death Knight was brought in in the 2008 expansion Wrath of the Lich King.

Mists of Pandaria also introduces mini-pet battles. Players can possess up to three mini-pets and fight versus other players' pets or critters in the wild. Each fight you succeed levels up your mini-pets, unlocking different abilities and adding more maximum health. Overall, leveling up pets is as much fun as questing.

With the expansion, the maximum level a player can get to is increased to 90, and getting there is the quickest I have experienced. As soon as a player hits 90, they can commence the common progression to get better items for end-game content and raids, or take on more quests to increase a character's tradeskills.

3-player scenarios are a great way for friends to experience content while not needing the normal 5-player group or joining a 10- or TWENTY-FIVE-player raid. It isn't a quick track to getting better gear, but judging from the reactions of fellow members in my guild, the scenarios were enjoyable. Brand new 5-player dungeons are also available, despite the fact that they seem oversimplified, at first. Nevertheless, higher-level dungeons offer you a much better challenge. Any one who has battled against Xin the Weaponmaster, the very last boss in the Mogu'shan Palace, will most likely agree.

Developers have also added more player and guild accomplishments that can reward players with new titles, items and guild perks.
Mists of Pandaria is WoW's greatest expansion to date, supplying new and experienced gamers far more to do at the start further than leveling up a character. Completely new features like the mini-pet battles should help keep players interested. Such as any MMORPG expansion, success will be determined as more content is added in right up to the finish, including dungeons, TEN or TWENTY-FIVE-player raids and the final boss. With the content already given to players at release, Mists is off to a excellent beginning.
