"Scribblenauts" developer 5th Cell has now announced his new game project, "Hybrid". And while confirming that the game will only be downloadable on Xbox 360
Game developer has been associated with the innovative and charming Nintendo DS series, "Scribblenauts." When they announced the first game in the series, the company was almost an overnight sensation at last year's E3 in Los Angeles.
In the game you can cause objects by typing random words, so it's your imagination that determines the solution of tasks in the game. Reviewers were unfortunately not entirely convinced by the first game, but we liked the new game far better.
Now, however, the developer announced that their new game will not be of the sweet and charming type.
- "Hybrid" is a pioneer of third-person shooter in a broken postapokalyptisk world, giving players a whole new gaming experience that has never been seen in this genre, it is in a message on the developer's website.
- "Hybrid" offers a groundbreaking evolution in third-person shooter, and 5th Cell is looking forward to offering our innovative spillmekanske ideas for a new platform and a brand new audience. 5th Cell strive to innovate in video games, and our previous titles, we believe, "Hybrid" does the same.
What is innovative and original with the game, is still in the blue - post-apocalyptic shooter has not been original for very long. The head of the company, Jeremiah Slaczka, however, revealed to Joystiq.com in August that the game is developed with "Half Life" developers' tools, Source Engine.
In the short teaser trailer tells us that "God did not create money or war, man-made them" and concludes with "God did not create hell, Variance created it." It is therefore not very difficult to reason their way to who the enemy in the game.
