It is a great pleasure to be surrounded by family and friends, and to remember the dear ones that have left us. There are many kinds of games, but only a few of them are worth our time. Board games and video games have been in stiff competition ever since video games were introduced. Video games seem to have the upper hand in wining the affections of the youth, but some would say this has been to the detriment of our society, with video games contributing to the decline of physical and mental health, as well as serving to isolate family members from one another. Our families often dwell in the same house, but lead almost separate lives, sometimes not even eating together. Each has their own preferred type of entertainment, too, as tastes vary. What is needed, then, are games that motivate, teach, inspire, appeal to all and most importantly, bring families together.
In our computerized world, we often waste our precious time and neglect family and friends. It's good to remember what's important in life. Even games in which you work a job, build a house, get married, and so forth still do not let you spend quality time with real people. Our greatest moments of happiness are with the ones we love, and a simple board game can help us bond with friends and family while still allowing us to satisfy our need to compete in a game.
One game that is fun for the whole family is SPONTUNEOUS, the lyrical board game. It can bring back memories of old, classic songs to be taught to the young (And who knows, perhaps the young can teach newer songs to the older generations!)
The game goes like this: when your turn comes, you are the "Tunesmith." Think of a song, pick a word from those lyrics, and write it down on your "Hit List." These are your "Trigger Words." Once everyone has their own Trigger Words, you, as the Tunesmith flips the 15-second timer, and announces a trigger word from your Hit List. The race is on as the other players try to be the first to sing as five-word portion of any song containing that Trigger Word. The first player to begin singing before the time expires gets to roll the dice and advance on the board. But beware! If the time runs out, you, the Tunesmith, must prove your musical knowledge by singing five words of a song containing that trigger word. Everyone gets their chance to be the Tunesmith, and it's anyone's game as you race around the board to be the first to complete the Spontuneous Challenge!
SPONTUNEOUS is sure to be enjoyed by all. Any celebration is made even better when you add our fun lyrical game. Create new memories, grow closer to friends and family, and make the most of your precious time with our interactive musical game.
