Zelda OoT 3d Kokiri Forest Guide

Welcome to the Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D Kokiri Forest guide. Where you are new to Zelda or been playing it since NES you can use this guide to get through Kokiri Forsest fairly quickly. The Great Deku Tree is the first dungeon in Zelda Ocarina Of time but still holds a few challenges. This guide will lead you to The Great Deku Tree and help you get all the things you need for the dungeon. Let’s get started.

First thing you have to do in the Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D Kokiri Forest guide is go outside your house. I named my guy Link so I will refer to the hero as Link for the game. Once you leave you will be greeted by a long time friend named Saria. She will instruct you to go to the Great Deku Tree. You can try to go if you want but you can’t get in with a sword and shield. Let’s get them now.

The next part of the Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D Kokiri Forest guide is getting the Kokiri sword. As soon as you are done talking to Saria take the path to the left and up the hill. Once up there head to the back wall. You will see a hole. Climb under it. Once in there stop before you enter the tall grass. Wait a few seconds and you will see a boulder coming at you. Wait for it to take the path through the long grass then follow it to the second opening. You will see a chest. Open it and acquire the Kokiri Sword. It’s a weak sword but does the job for now. Go to your gear screen and equip it. You can cut the shrubs and signs with the sword as well. Head back out grabbing the rupess you come across.

The next part of the Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D Kokiri Forest guide is getting the shield. It costs 40 rupees which is quite a bit when you start with 0. Run through the long grass, cut the shrubs and throw the rocks to find some rupees. You can cross the bridge that is connect to a house. Take it all the way for a blue rupee. Behind the house with all the little rocks and the guy who can’t lift the rock is also a blue rupee. After you cut the shrubs, run through the tall grass and break the rocks if you still need some check the houses. Throw the jugs and they will sometimes also have rupees. The house right below the hill where you got your sword has a few chests in it as well and they have rupees. Once you have 40 rupees head to the store. Its the tree with the girl sitting on top of the doorway. Talk to the shop keeper the press right to select the Deku shield. Buy it, equip it, and leave. Time to move on.

The last part of the Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D Kokiri Forest guide is getting to the Great Deku Tree. As soon as you leave the store to your left you will see a gap in the wall you can go through blocked by and guy. Go up and talk to him. He isn’t happy but he’ll let you through. Take the path and a little ways in you’ll face some snapping flowers. They aren’t strong slice them in half and pick up the Deku Sticks. These are really important as a kid so don’t go wasting them. After you clear them out head to The Great Deku Tree. You will have a cut scene and then it is time to enter The Great Deku tree.
