Gears Of War 3 Leviathan Boss Guide

Towards the end of the boat level in Gears of War 3 you will have to face your first boss known as the Leviathan. This boss guide will help you take it down quickly and easily. This is a pretty straight forward fight so let’s get to it.

The first thing we will go over in the Gears of War 3 Leviathan boss guide is the bosses attacks. This boss can’t really attack because you injure it quickly but it does have a couple attacks. It can spit at you and hurt you or hit you with a tentacle. Just dodge either of them and you will be fine.

While it isn’t visible is when it is more dangerous. It will send swarms of enemies at you and then re appear. Kill of the waves to damage the boss again.

The next part of the Gears of War 3 Leviathan boss guide is beating the boss. You are in a sort of mech suit when you fight the boss so it gets pretty hurt pretty quickly. As soon as you see it start shooting its eye. You need to break the eye and that can be done very quickly. Just unload the mini gun on it until it bursts open. Little aliens will come out but I didn’t notice them attack me so forget about them.

After that Marcus will yell shoot it in the face. So do that. After a couple seconds it started to roar right at me and I shot it in the mouth. Shoot it there if you can. After enough damage it will withdraw.

Once it does that it will start sending enemies at you. Back up because they have to jump up from below. With this suit you can kill them before they have time to react if you are quick enough. Just watch the gap for enemies and take them out asap. Put yourself in cover with the suit if you get low.

After clearing the wave the boss will re appear. Keep shooting at its head. There will likely be a few aliens left but you can skip them and just focus the boss. If he starts to attack avoid it but you can damage it before that if you are fast enough. It will then go back into the water again.

While it is away it will send more enemies at you. Do the same thing as last time. Back up and watch the gap they come up from and camp them. It shouldn’t get to out of hand but if it does use cover. Wait for the boss to appear for the last time then lay into it. Keep at it until you knock it back and the chopper will finish it off and you will have won.
