Gears Of War 3 Armored Kantus Boss Guide

The next boss you will face in Gears of War 3 goes by Armored Kantus. These are more of mini bosses then anything but they are pretty annoying all the same. Gears Of War 3 Armored Kantus Boss GuideThis boss guide will help you bring them down. Let’s get on with it.

The first thing in the Gears of War 3 Armored Kanthus boss guide will be his abilities. This boss only has a couple of abilities but it is better to know them before we start the fight.

First thing you should know is the boss is armored(duh). That means bullets have no effect on it so we will need explosives. Grenades, the exploding bow and the boomshot are what we will use on it. You can melee it but not one shot kill melee it so it’s fast to blow them up.

They will typically come at you with other enemies or in swarms which can be annoying. They are extremely fast and can quickly get right on top of you if you aren’t careful. Keep on the move and dodging to avoid it. I would take down the weaker enemies first.

It duel wields auto pistols and will fire at you with them after he moves. He might not shoot at you but your teammates be sure to use this to your advantage.

Lastly if you get to close it can melee you for some big damage. Just keep on the move and dodging to avoid this.

Now onto fight part of the Gears of War 3 Armored Kanthus boss guide. As stated above you will likely face off with more then one at a time. They will both move really quickly and fire the pistols at you. Dodge those shots and use the boomshot or bow on them if you have either. If not you have to use a grenade which can be trickier because he will likely dodge before it blows up. Be sure to have your second grenade ready to throw if he does dodge.

If you are having trouble hitting him wait for him to speed boost to a spot and he will briefly be stuck there so take your shot then. It doesn’t take many shots but they are hard to land shots. After the couple hits you will have brought one down. Good job.
