In Zelda Skyward Sword you will come to a part where you must find three Kikwis. It is in Faron Woods and they are not hard to find but once you find them they tend to run. This guide will help you grab them in no time! Let’s get started!
If you are ever lost use the Dowsing Rod and pick the Kikwis to get an general idea of where they are.
Zelda Skyward Sword Faron Woods Kikwis guide 1/4 – The first Kikwis you find is before you start the quest for them. Kill the goblins near him and talk to him then he will run. Follow him and he will start to hide behind large mushrooms. Cut the mushrooms and he will go behind a different one. Repeat until he runs to a tree then you can talk to him and he will direct you to his Elder. Go there and he will ask you to find the next three.
Zelda Skyward Sword Faron Woods Kikwis guide 2/4 – Now that we talked to the master we can start finding the other ones. Use the Dowsing Rod and pick the Kikwis. From the master look right and you should see a large tree. You can climb under that and get some items so do that but a Kikwis is also this way. Once you are done grabbing your loot go up the vine and cross the rope. The balance is a bit weird I’m not sure if you have to move the whole wiimote or just tilt it the direction you want to balance. I tilted it when I made it across.
Once across drop down to the area with the red goblin. He will call about 4 more once you get close. Clear them out and the Kikwis will talk to you but say he can’t come down because he is to scared. No problem because link has a head of stone and if you roll into the tree he will fall out of it. Talk to him and he will be marked on the map. Now the vine that came down when he fell can be used to get to the other ledge. Jump on the vine and swing yourself at the ledge and jump off to grab it then push the log off. Now we will look for the next one.
Zelda Skyward Sword Faron Woods Kikwis guide 3/4 – From where we just pushed that log down is the where we will start looking for the next Kikwis. Use the Dowsing rod and look left at the large tree. It should blink faster and make noises indicating one is over there. Hop down and head to the tree. Keep going around the large tree until you get to a smaller tree with two goblins at it. Kill the goblins and hit the tree with your head if you want the beetle that is on it.
Now from where you came you should see a mini ramp you can go up. The wall next to it has vines coming off that you can jump to. Jump on them and make the gaps when asked. Grab the stamina fruit as well. Once you make it to the spot jump off and you will see the Kikwis. Cut all the grass, put your sword away then talk to him. One more to go!
Zelda Skyward Sword Faron Woods Kikwis guide 4/4 – From up where you just go the last one use the dowsing rod to find the general area of the last one. It will point at a hole you can crawl through. Jump down and crawl through. If you can’t see the hole check your map and you can see a tiny path through the rock wall.
Once through there almost right in front of you is a small ledge(it is a a bit far away though) you can jump up. Do so then jump up to the next one as well. Up here will be a brick wall and a Deku shrub shooting things at you. To the right of the shrub you should see a hole in the floor. Take it down and follow the path to the last Kikwis. Try to pick him up and he will talk to you. After that return to the Kikwis Elder and he will tell you where Zelda went.
