Unlike previous games in the series Mass Effect 3 let’s you mod your weapons. These are key to fighting off the reapers with the most efficiency. This location guide will help you find them all as you go! So let’s get started!

I started a bit late but the first ones are a bit hard to miss. We will start on Palaven.
Mass Effect 3 Weapon mod location guide – The Citadel – Go to the commons presidium and visit all the store kiosks there. You can buy tons of mods from there! You can buy them from the Normandy if you have the stores unlocked.
Mass Effect 3 Weapon mod location guide 1 – Turian Camp – If you are at General Corinthus and look the direction he is looking take a right. Hop down onto the ground and to the right of that you should see some crates a bit further off. Go up to them and a pistol mod is on it.
Mass Effect 3 Weapon mod location guide 2 – Turian Camp – From the last upgrade check the shelter to the right of the General. There is another pistol mod there. Grab it and move on.
Mass Effect 3 Weapon mod location guide 3 – Airfield outside Turian camp – Once you go through the gate to the air field area you should see a couple of barriers down you can take cover on. Near that will be some ammo and an assault rifle mod. Grab it.
Mass Effect 3 Weapon mod location guide 4 – On the way to General Vitcus – On the way to see the other general you will run into some Turians getting attacked by a flying reaper. It will leave once you arrive. On the floor near them is a sniper rifle extra ammo mod. Grab it.
Mass Effect 3 Weapon mod location guide 5 – While clearing the camp – Once you get to the camp you will need to clear it. Once you come in look to the left and you should see the medkit on the floor. Near that is a scope for the sniper rifle. Grab it.
Mass Effect 3 Weapon mod location guide 6 – Grissom Academy – After saving the Biotic with the shield up you n eed to jump over a tiny wall to get into the next room. In that room on one of the consoles is a SMG heat sink.
Mass Effect 3 Weapon mod location guide 7 – Grissom Academy – After running into an old friend and killing a large mech you will need to find a laptop. Go up to where the students are at and near a orange screen you will find an assault rifle scope.
Mass Effect 3 Weapon mod location guide 8 – Sur’Kesh – After the female krogan starts to go up you will have to follow. Go up the stairs and before taking the elevator check the shelves for a Assault rifle extended barrel.
Mass Effect 3 Weapon mod location guide 9 – Sur’Kesh – After the elevator blows up and you take the back way you will run into some soldiers shooting down over a balcony. Behind them is a room with a shotgun blade mod in it. Grab it.
Mass Effect 3 Weapon mod location guide 10 – Sur’Kesh – After the giant monster escapes you will have to hop over a gap in order to get past some flames. On the floor is a Shotgun extra ammo mod.
Mass Effect 3 Weapon mod location guide 11 – Sur’Kesh – After meeting up with Wrex and some soldiers keep going until you find a bookshelf. On the shelf is a Highcalibur pistol mod.
Mass Effect 3 Weapon mod location guide 12 – Sur’Kesh – Once you make it to the second checkpoint you will have to re route the power and protect the pod. After that look for the set of computers against the wall. On that is a pistol scope.
Mass Effect 3 Weapon mod location guide 13 – Attican Traverse – Once you land and deal with the krogan go into the house. On a crate is a pistol mod.
Mass Effect 3 Weapon mod location guide 14 – Attican Traverse – Once you reach the base camp check inside the building for a weapon bench and an SMG upgrade.
Mass Effect 3 Weapon mod location guide 15 – Tuchanka: Turian Platoon – As soon as you land go forward and look to the left. You should see the SMG upgrade on a box. Grab it.
Mass Effect 3 Weapon mod location guide 16 – Tuchanka: Turian Platoon – After finding the assault rifle on the floor go around into the next room. On the floor is a SMG upgrade.
Mass Effect 3 Weapon mod location guide 17 – Tuchanka: Turian Platoon – After the Turian call and say they need help fast you will come to a hole. Drop down that hole and keep going to get a shotgun Smart Choke.
Mass Effect 3 Weapon mod location guide 18 – Tuchanka Bomb location – On the way up the ramp towards the bomb you should see a tunnel that is caved in. Inside the accessible part is a Shotgun blade.
Mass Effect 3 Weapon mod location guide 19 – Tuchanka Bomb location – After the Turian calls you and says he is taking heavy mortar fire you should see a hole in the wall. go through there and on the crate is a pistol scope.
Mass Effect 3 Weapon mod location guide 20 – Tuchanka Bomb location – After seeing the planet killer you will have to climb a ladder to progress. Up at the top is a crate with a sniper rifle concentration module.
Mass Effect 3 Weapon mod location guide 21/22 – Tuchanka Curing the Genophage – Once you get out of the tanks near the ammo and grenades there are two upgrades. One is a pistol melee mod and the other is a Shotgun smart choke.
Mass Effect 3 Weapon mod location guide 23 – Priority: The Citadel – After entering C-Sec HQ you will go through a doorway and Tahne will say he is on his way. From there go left up the stairs and look right to see a medkit. On the same table is a Assault Rifle piercing mod.
Mass Effect 3 Weapon mod location guide 24 – Geth Dreadnaught – Once you get back into gravity you will have to climb something to get to the door. Instead of climbing look down to the left for a shotgun smart choke.
Mass Effect 3 Weapon mod location guide 24 – Priority: The Citadel – Once you take the elevator up the C sec leader will ask if you found any survivors. In the room you arrive in check around in all the areas for various upgrades. Don’t leave until you checked all the rooms.
Mass Effect 3 Weapon mod location guide 25 – Geth Dreadnaught – After Tali comes and opens the door you will see a console in front of you as you go down the path. On the right side of the console is a sniper rifle scope.
Weapon mod location 26 – Geth Dreadnaught – Right before disabling the signal so the fleet can escape look to you left so get an SMG scope. Grab it.
Weapon mod location 27 – Rannoch: Admiral Koris – After finding the maintenance quarian you will climb up a hill. Look on the ground to see the SMG magazine upgrade.
