Once you finally make it into the Cathedral you will have to do a puzzle to get underneath it. It is a pretty long puzzle but simple if you know what to do. This guide will help you if you get confused. So let’s get started!
First thing you will have to do for the Cathedral puzzle is get the two sorrow statues. The first one is right near the altar. Grab that then go to the broken ladder. From here you can toss Helena up and she will kick a ladder down for you. You then climb up and go through the only door you can open. In the chest is the other statue. Place one on the altar up top and Helena will go do the other one. Now a door below will open. Go down and enter.
Things start to get a bit more tricky her. Hit the switch and she will as well. Two statues will appear and you need to run up and hit the switches on them before they shoot you with the arrow. If you get hit no big deal they don’t kill you in one shot. After that you can go through the next door.
I’m sure you can see whats coming next. There are about 15 door ways for the statues to come out of now. Hit the switch and be ready to run. It will start slow with one at a time. Hit them as they appear and then head to the middle so you can see where the next one will pop out at. It will get fast and you will either have to start dodging the arrows or take a hit. Just keep running from statue to statue and after you clear them all the door will open.
The next room wants you to light up the symbols. You will see a laser pointer almost hitting one of the symbols. Use your gun and aim at it for it to light up and the door to open.
Go through the next door and up the stairs. At the back you will hear some water and you can see the symbol above the waterfall. Aim again to unlock the next door.
Head through the next door and the symbol will be up above you. Aim through the opening and the symbol will light up.
Through the next door you will see another symbol above you again. You will have to reflect the laser of the mirror and onto the symbol. I was able to see the symbol on the mirror. With Helena point up and to the right to see the statue holding the symbol you need to aim at. With Leon it is up and to the left. It is upside down due to the mirror. Be sure to grab the sniper rifle in the next room. Also grab the statue.
Now you can see the other statue but it is blocked. All you have to do is shoot 5 bells to open the gate. Three bells are in the towers and the other two are on the wind vanes. You do not need to use the sniper rifle to activate them I used my pistol. After that grab the statue and head through the door that just opened. Good job.
