Far Cry 3 Crafting Guide

Crafting in Far Cry 3 works in a similar way to a majority of games. You must first gather ingredients and unlock recipes before you’re able to craft an item, however you do begin the game with some very basic recipes. There’s a huge variety of ingredients, each of which can be discovered on various parts of the island. This Far Cry 3 Crafting Guide will cover every item you can craft, where to find recipes, the best spots for ingredients and pretty much anything else related to crafting in Far Cry 3.

Medical Syringes

Name: Medical Syringes
Use: Heals 2 slots of health
Ingredients: 1x Green Leaf

Name: Enhanced Perception
Use: Can see animals and explosives via scent
Ingredients: 1x Crimson Leaf

Name: Endorphin Boost
Use: Very large heal
Ingredients: 2x Green Leaf 1x Blue Leaf

Hunting Syringes
Name: Hunting Instinct
Use: Can track animals via their scent. Timid animals will not flee when approached
Ingredients: x1 Amber Leaf

Name:Animal Repellent
Use: Animals run away from you for 40 seconds
Ingredients: 2x Amber Leaf

Name: Deadly Hunter
Use: Deal more damage to animals
Ingredients: 2x Amber Leaf, 1x Crimson Leaf

Name: Nature Boy
Use: Can see plants on radar at greater distances
Ingredients: 1x Blue Leaf

Combat Syringes
Name: Fireproof
Use: Removes burn damage for a short period of time
Ingredients: x2 Crimson Leaf

Name: Sharpshooter
Use: Increased accuracy with firearms
Ingredients: 2x Crimson Leaf, 1x Amber Leaf

Exploration Syringes

Name: Sprint Burst
Use: Increases running and swimming speeds
Ingredients: 2x Blue Leaf

Name: Deep Dive
Use: Can swim underwater without needing oxygen
Ingredients: 2x Blue Leaf, 1x Green Leaf

Special Syringes

Name: Untouchable
Use: Immune to all types of damage
Unlock: Collect 30 relics

Green Leaf, Yellow Leaf & White Leaf
There’s a very easy way to gather large amounts of these. Head North of Amanki to the Trial. Enter the trial, fail as quickly as possible and it will take you back outside. All of the nearby items will respawn, giving access to plenty of Green Leaf, White Leaf and Yellow Leaf very easily and quickly.

Crimson Leaf
You can find Crimson Leaf at “The Hunting Grounds” near the beginning of the game.

Boar Hide
Boar’s are one of the most common animals near the beginning of the game. They can be found in large quantities at “The Hunting Grounds”.
