Fire Emblem: Awakening Guide – Character Creation Guide

The character creation is pretty strait forward in Fire Emblem Awakening. As soon as a player starts a new game they will be asked to create a character. You can pick from a male or female character. Then the real customization begins. This Fire Emblem: Awakening character creation guide will go over a couple of the different choices you can make. Probably doesn’t need to be a guide, but at least you can get a little bit of information about what the game is like from these opening choices.

There is a bunch of different customization you can do. There is different builds, face, hair styles, hair colors and different voice acting cuts. Find the one you think represents you the most because you will be sticking with it for a while. The builds are basically short, medium, and tall. There faces don’t change a whole lot based on what you pick. Most of the stuff is just cosmetic, but the voice actor you will have to stick with if you want to touch any of the cut scenes. The little voices can get annoying over the span of a long play session.

The next screen will customize your name, your birthday, your asset and your flaw. The only real important things that you can change for gameplay is the asset and the flaw category. Try to think of what type of character you are going to play in the future and put the best characteristic in your asset square. For example, if you want to be a magic character then pick magic as your asset and similarly for other classes. I always picked luck for my flaw in my playthroughs just because it is the least harmful area to lack in, in my own opinion.
