This mission is really just a tutorial level. It is mostly for people who have not played a Fire Emblem game in the past or for people that just want to brush up on the mechanics. The mission starts with a cut scene to give a little bit of the story bits. After the cut scene, Chrom and your character will be talking.

The first thing you will be told is to move closer to Validar. Move your characters as close as you can to Validir and you position your characters. The easiest way to kill Validar is to first hit him with Chrom. After the first hit, take your character and position him behind Chrom 2 spaces away from Validar. Use the electric attack and Chrom will pair up with you. This electric attack with Chrom paired will kill him. After he is dead a cut scene will play and then you can really get into the game.
