Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon Guide – Tree Topping Haunted Towers Boss Guide

The Bosses in Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon have a puzzle aspect to them that makes them charming, but a little bit more difficult than some other games. This Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon Guide will go over how to be the Haunted Towers Boss at the end of the second mansion. Haunted Towers Boss Guide

Your first challenge is actually making it to the boss at the top of this big tree. Sets of staircases will be in front of you. Look when you first go up a flight of stairs and one of the sets should be missing a blue flame, or one of the blue flames will be smaller than the other two. Always go up these sets of stairs and you should be able to make it up pretty far. Don’t get too discouraged as some of the choices will be a guessing game. It won’t punish you for this, you will just have to catch a small green ghost and redo some of what you have already walked up.

Note: If the pattern is not randomized my pattern was: left, left, left, middle, left, middle, left, right, left, right, left, right, left, right, middle, right, left, middle, right, left.

The First Hit:
The first hit is the easiest. Basically just avoid the creepy staircase boss and eventually it will jump high in the air. When it falls a rope will fall out the back side. Suck up the rope with the Poltergust and pull it. The boss ghost will pop out. IF it does make it’s charge before you stun it look out. It will make to passes at trying to hit you. Stun the ghost and suck up it’s first outer layer.

The Second Hit:
The staircase will do an attack where it shoots blue ghost balls of energy at you. Just keep moving and he will miss every time. After 4 or 5 of those the staircase will go back to doing the same attacks as it did before. Just avoid them and the staircase will jump high in the air and you can repeat the same process as before.

The Third Hit:
Same exact process as the second hit. Suck up the ghost for a third time and you will have completed the boss fight!
