Final Fantasy 13 Lightning Returns Guide: Yusnaan Side Quest Guide

Yusnaan is another city you can get side quests from in Lightning Returns. There are a few on the Canvas of Prayers and scattered through random citizens in town. This guide will help you find them and complete them. Let’s get started!

Yusnaan Side Quests

I’m doing this as I go so I might be missing a couple. Remember to use Chronostasis to maximize your time when questing.

Secret Machine – You get this quest from the Of Prayers. You will need to get 3 ether coils from the floating droids you can find around the city. Go to the industrial area to find them quickly. Kill 3 of them to beat the quest.

Play It for Me – Outside of the champions quarter you can find a boy playing music with the quest stars above his head. Talk to him and he will want you to find some musical chests.

Songless Diva – In between the Cactuar statue and Fountain square you will find a lady singing near a piano. She has asked you to help her find her long lost lover. Once you are done talking to her he is the guy with the mask on and the purple shirt. Talk to him and he will need you to help her get the satchel he lost. Head towards the industrial area and in the sand you will see a ton of monsters all together. They are weak to kill them all and return the satchel to Berdy to complete the quest.

Soulful Horn – This is a monster hunting quest that you can find at the Canvas of Prayers. You will need to get 10 Poisonous Stings which you can get from the Anybus enemies. You can find them spawning over near the Industrial area.

A Dangerous Cocktail – This is a hunting quest from the Canvas of Prayers. You will need to get 4 clear oozes from Flanitors. You can fight them in the city with the city guards.

Unfired Firework – This is a quest that you get from the Canvas of Prayers. You need to find a firework that hasn’t been fired yet but I still haven’t found it.

Time Doesn’t Heal – This is a quest that you get from the Canvas of Prayers. You will need to get a Jade Hair Comb and a Bronze Pocket Watch. The Bronze Pocket watch I found during the main story mission in the Industrial Area. The Jade hair comb can also be found in the Industrial area near the locked gate.

A Man for a Chocobo Girl – This is a quest that you get from the Canvas of Prayers. You will need to get the Chocobo Girl’s Phone Number which can be found south of the Revelers quarter in the back alley. It is a poster on the wall.

Rebuilding – This is a quest that you get from the Canvas of Prayers. You will need to find 5 Statue Fragments which can be found around the statue in the Augurs quarter and on the other side where the statue broke though the wall.

Death Safari – After you beat the main quest in the area go back to the Industrial area entrance and talk to the guy there to get this quest. You will need to kill 30 Niblets in the Industrial Area then return the emblems to the entrance.

Death Game – After you beat Death Safari you can enter Death Games over at the Warehouse district. Basically you will be killing 30 more enemies but they are in chaos and you have to do it in 4 game hours. Just use your EP and Chronostasis to keep the time down and kill them as you come across them. Don’t forget to grab the soul seeds and when you collect 30 pieces you will automatically beat the quest.
