The Strange Coin is one of the currencies used in Destiny to get weapons and upgrades. Of course even with the Strange Coins you will have to find out where to turn them in. This guide will tell you where you can turn the coins in for the best loot. Let’s get started.
You get 3 Strange Coins for completing the weekly Heroic Strike mission.
Strange coins are acquired during the special event missions in the world and also while sometime as rewards for beating missions. They are rare and you need a lot of them to buy the best weapons and upgrades. The thing about turning them is you can only do it on the weekends. During the weekends Xur from the Agent of the Nine faction will appear and he will trade you for the coins.
Since it hasn’t been a full week yet I’m not sure where he is in the tower but once I find out I will be sure to update this. I know he has extremely rare weapon upgrades as well as sparrow upgrades. He also has lesser materials and glimmer for trade as well. I am not sure how many you will need for the top-tier equipment but my guess is a lot. This is supposed to be the schedule for Xur.
Xur has arrived and is near the Crucible quartermaster in the Hall of Guardians.
