Assassin’s Creed Rogue Guide: Hunting Challenges Guide

Hunting Challenges in Assassin’s Creed Rogue will net you extra cash and help you find certain types of animals. They start off easy but quickly get more challenging as your progress. This guide will help you find them all and beat them with no trouble at all!

Assassin’s Creed Rogue Hunting Challenges Guide

Remember to use your focus vision to help you find animals. Make sure to use the view point so you can see the marker on your map. You do NOT keep the pelts to craft with after you complete a challenge. The hunting challenges are only found in the River Valley.

Twin Snake Path Hunting Challenge – The Twin Snake Path can be found in the Fort La Croix area of the map. Sail to the Twin Snake Path dock and get the viewpoint to unlock the challenge on your map. You will need to get 2 wolf pelts within 2 minutes. Just run through the area until you see a red paw on your mini map. When you see this head to it and the wolves will attack you. Do the button prompts and skin them to beat this challenge.

Marais Rocheux Hunting Challenge – Marais Rocheux can also be found in the Fort La Croix area of the map. This one is near the viewpoint in Marais Rocheux. You have to hunt rabbits for this one which is really easy. Find a rabbit, chase it down, kill it and repeat 5 times.

St-Nicolas Hunting Challenge – St. Nicolas can be found in the Fort Soleil area of the map. You will need to collect 2 Black Bear pelts for this challenge. Bears can be deadly but if you get up in a fight with them do the button prompts to get away. Use your focus vision and the tree tops to stalk the bears and get the pelts.

Old Growth Forest Hunting Challenge 1 – The Old Growth forest can also be found in the Fort Soleil area of the map. This is the one closest to the Old Growth Forest fast travel. You will need to get more Wolf pelts. Same as before, look for the paw marks and take the wolves out.

Old Growth Forest Hunting Challenge 2 – This one is close to the water but doesn’t have a fast travel way point. You will need to hunt deer and skin them to beat this one. Deer are easily scared so take the high ground and use focus vision to do air assassinations. You can also use your pistol if you can’t make get close enough.

Greystone Hunting Challenge – Greystone can be found in the Albany area of the map. Another deer challenge so use the high ground and your pistol.

Vallee Verte Hunting Challenge Vellee Verta can be found in the Fort La Croix area of the map. You need to get Wolf and Fox pelts for this one. Focus on the foxes first because the wolves will come to you. After you get the Fox pelts finish the Wolf pelts and you will be this challenge. I used my pistol on the foxes and did the button prompts for the wolves.

Mont Saint Denis Hunting Challenge – Mont Saint Denis can be found in the Fort La Croix area of the map. All you have to do for this one is collect hare pelts. Chase them down and skin them.

Red Bank Hunting Challenge – The Red Bank can be found in the Two Bends area of the map. More Deer pelts for this one. Pistol and high ground as usual.

Ruisseau Du Renard Hunting Challenge – Ruisseau Du Renard can be found in the Fort Soleil area of the map. This one is Fox pelts exclusively. Foxes are faster than rabbits so use the high ground and your pistol.

Fleur De Vent Hunting Challenge – Fleur De Vent can be found in Lac Eternal. This challenge will have you hunting Beavers. Heavers are not fast so you can just run them down.

Riviere Aurifere Hunting Challenge – This Riviere Aurifere is in the Fort Blanc area of the River Valley. You will need to kill Elk and Deer in this challenge. Elk are kind of rare and run very quickly. Take the high ground and use your pistol so one doesn’t escape. Killing Deer is business as usual.

Ile Des Pines Hunting Challenge – Ile Des Pines is found in Lac Eternal. You will need to kill bears and collect their pelts for this mission. If you get caught by a bear you will have three button prompts to do until the bear is dead. If not you can use the high ground to do an air drop or your pistols if they are strong enough. You only have a minute so assassinate one and shoot the other if you are running low on time.

Or-Du-Norde Hunting Challenge Or-Du-Norde can be found in the Fort Blanc area of the map. You will be hunting Black Wolves this time. You only have a minute this time so I would use focus vision and your pistol to get this done quick.

Vielle Carriere Hunting Challenge – This area is also found in the Fort Blanc part of the map. You will need to run down 5 beavers for this challenge.
