Looking at that list of objectives, you’d think that getting them all (as well as the S Rank) would be quite hard. That’s not the case, as this will turn out to be one of the easier missions that you have played up until this point.
Quiet’s starting point will be on top of the big central archway, and this is where the first half your fight will take place. Quickly pop out and mark her with your binoculars, and then duck into cover. Make sure she cannot shoot you, and don’t bother attacking her at all. Pull up your iDROID and you should see her on your map. Set a waypoint on her exact location, and then call in a Supply drop on that marker. As long as you don’t shoot her or tempt her to move, the supply drop will land directly on her and take half of her health away.
At this point Quiet will move, but you should get a general idea of her direction via the marker you put on her with your binoculars. It will disappear, so now you need to scour the area with your binoculars to find her one more time. When you do, mark her, and then again duck into cover. Put another map waypoint on her, and then call in yet another supply drop to land on her head. This will deal the final 50 percent of the damage required to take her out.
From here all you have to do is approach Quiet. She might teleport away, but you can just walk up to her new location to trigger the mission ending cut scene. During this scene you will have Miller and Ocelot giving you differing opinions on what to do, but we’re here to tell you that leaving Quiet alive, and bringing her back to Mother Base is your best possible outcome.
You’ll also notice that you completed this mission very quickly, which is good for a time bonus, and you also managed to knock off every single one of the objectives. That should be more than enough to get you your S Rank on this one. If you’re not sure how to get an S Rank, you only need to get 130,000 points on any particular mission to make it happen, and the time bonus is the biggest factor in this. Finishing a mission quickly is the key to the S Rank.
