Cityville – Finishing the Starting Goals (Levels 5 on)
Only a few goals remain after all the efforts at this point, most of which have taken a minute to achieve.
Time Capsule:
Just a quick note, if you’ve taken a break from the game and planted your carrots, now is a good time to go back and harvest them. As long as 8 hours have pasted, you are good. You may need to build more storage for your Goods, as Carrots offer a lot of Goods.
Goal:
Rita’s Rent
This is a very simple goal here. All you need to do is click on Rita’s house, which is in the upper portion of the city, behind the barn. This will award you with 25 Goods.
Goal: Clear A Neighbor’s Trees
Another simple goal, you just need to visit Samantha’s City or a friend’s and clear out 5 trees. This will need to be an entire visit, as you only have 5 energy to use in a single day. Try to get a few friends to make the multiple goals visiting cities easier. You get 50 Goods for your efforts
Goal: The Burger Joint
Edgar is back, advising you to build a convenient restaurant, a Burger Joint. You will likely need to boost your population to 150 (or pay the 5 City Cash to instantly unlock it). When you do build the Burger Joint, you will be prompted to name it and be given access to the house, the Modern Chateau.
Managing Your Population Cap
Depending on how to get to the 150 needed for your Burger Joint, you may need to take some time and add some more Community Buildings. Each of these will increase your Population, which keeps everyone a lot happier.
Goal: Building a Silo
Conductor Charlie will be helping you through the next part of the game. He will be prompting you to build a Silo. These can be found in the Build button under the Farming Menu. Scroll it one section to the right to see all the available storage options. While Silos add 100 Goods storage, you will see more are available for City Cash. When you complete it, you will be awarded 100 Coins.
Goal: Build Franchises
The next goal set to you by Edgar is to establish some franchises. The goal here is simple, visit Samantha’s City and place a Franchise in the appropriate spot. You will see a yellow arrow point right to the empty lot waiting for your business. Click on the lot and choose one of your 3 businesses that you want to open in Sam’s Town. Whichever you choose and place, you will get 50 goods for your efforts.
Goal: Build a Headquarters
Keeping with Edgar, your next goal is to build a headquarters for your expanded Business. Access your inventory like before. You will the Headquarters for your Business appear in there. It will take 10 energy to build, so this can take a while to pull off. For your efforts though you will be award with 50 Goods.
Goal: Run Remote Franchise
Edgar asks for something simple again, to use your headquarters to supply your out-of-town store. Click on the Headquarters after you have built it to send supplies and collect the profits from your franchise. You will be award 100 coins for spending supplies to your franchise.
Goal: Build Edgar’s Chateau
While this one looks simple, it takes a little more effort than the first glance entails. You need to build a Chateau and place 6 more decorations around the city. Still, aim to have them next to the Chateau to get the most from it. You will be awarded with 100 Coins. Less than what you spent to build it, but it is another completed goal.
Goal: Scout Businesses
This goal can take a while to do because of the energy restrictions. You need to send 10 Tour buses to businesses in neighboring cities. This will need to be two entire visits, as you only have 5 energy to use in a single day per city. Try to get a few friends to make the multiple goals visiting cities easier. You will be awarded with 1 XP.
Goal: Fuel Town Finances
A simple goal that you likely have “completed” but it needs to be official. You need to collect from Businesses and Residences 10 times and raise your population to 250. You will be rewarded with 2 energy.
Goal: Expansive Thinking
It’s time to make your city bigger. You are to expand it to be 12x12. This option can be found in the Build Menu under the Expansions Tab (Third from the right). Either you need 1 Permit or 1 City Cash and 20,000 Coins. Save up for a while from your businesses, houses and franchises to be able to afford this very handy upgrade.
Goal: Build Paul a Home
An easy goal to achieve. You need to build a country house and add 5 Decorations to the town. For your efforts you get 100 Coins.
Goal: Family Feast
A simple goal, harvest 4 crops. Again, strawberries will see this through the quickest. If you are running low on Goods though, take a break, plant something like Corn and come back later.
