Deus Ex: Human Revolution Side Quest Walkthrough – Hengsha Second Visit
Talion A.D.
Make your way into the LIMB Clinic and get what upgrades you would like (remember, just the Praxis Kits initially). Then head to the left and talk to the Doctor who asks for a moment of your time. This is Wing Hui. He tells you about a Private Security Black Ops Cell that has gone rouge. He gives you a loose location to go on, a Butcher Shop in the Youzhao district, to begin your search for the man you are after.
Head toward the marker and into the Butcher Shop. Descend the stairs. You will find a corpse with a Pocket Secretary on it. Read to find out that the group has gone underground. They are now hidden in the sewers below Hengsha. You want to head into the Kuaigan District then down into the sewers. You want to return to where you had to perform the rescue for “Dirty Business”, down the stairs south of the Alice Garden Pods. Head down there and go all the way down. You will find a sewer cover none too far from the stairs, just in an enclave on the opposite side as the stairs down.
Inside the sewers go left from the ladder and left again at the T-Intersection. You will find Zelazny with his company waiting right there. Talk with him and inquire all the way through. There is no right answer here so just choose whichever you want. You can fight him and his three Squadmates, attempt to convince them to turn themselves in (the CASIE Augmentation is very helpful here) or let him go about his mission. It is worth noting that letting him go about his mission reduces the number of Belltower Security Patrols you will have to deal with around Hengsha.
After this, return to the LIMB Clinic and talk with Doctor Wing. You can either tell him the truth or lie. Either way you get a Praxis Kit out of it.
A Matter Of Discretion and Corporate Warfare
If you complete Talion A.D. First, you will find the latter part of this side quest easier. To ensure this, do not talk with his contact until you complete Talion A.D.
Shortly after you enter the Youzhao District Hugh Darrows will contact you and ask you to meet an associate of his. Her location is clearly marked. You need to reach the rooftops using a set of ladders near the southern downtown apartment complex in Youzhao. She tells you about a deal they managed to broker and they want to you help them capture the sellers. The location is marked on your map so head into the Kuaigan District.
Follow the marker to the stairs and prepare to take them down. If you have completed Talion A.D. then there are less Belltowers guards about. Having the stealth augmentations makes this a lot easier. A few gas grenades would not go wrong either if you want to avoid being seen all together. Just throw one toward each of the groups to ensure they all go down. Be sure to have some extra energy boosts if you are using the Stealth Takedown approachto avoid being seen. After all that, return to Meng Yao.
Before you talk with her save, as there is an achievement tied to this. However, unlike past dialogue achievements this one requires the CASIE augmentation. It is this the only way to get an option other than give her the chip. You must first inquire to the contents of the chip and you will get an option to use Pheromones. Activate it and choose “Charm” and she will become much more talkative about it. And for it, you will get the “Lady's Man” achievement in addition to the “Corporate Warfare” achievement you would get just for completing the side quest.
