Might and Magic Heroes VI Walkthrough Part 3 - Griffin Bane - Continued

Week of the Ancients
Day 2 Week 1 Month 1
A week where strange lights can be spotted in Ashan's night sky

Demon Sightings (Continued)
Active Objective: Destroy the two wolf packs (1/2 destroyed)

After visiting the weaponsmith as well as looting the nearby treasure chest, start making your way east towards the 2nd pack of wolves. Stop by the firecamp on the way to get some gold and resources.

Sveltana: "Remember Toghrul, Slava. Remember that his vengeance cost your father his life. If there are demons out there, find them! start nearby. Check every copse, ever hamlet."

Pick up any gold or any other resource along the way.

Now double click on the wolves to approach them and start the encounter. Again you can either attack, or retreat from the battle. Obviously, choose attack. These wolves should pose no real threat

As you already know, your heroes can perform actions once in every turn. Besides the hero attack that you were taught in the previous battle, your heroes can also use spells and might abilities from your spellbook. The spellbook button can be found on the command panel, at the lower right corner of the screen.

Click on the spellbook icon to bring up the spells menu

Try casting the Stand your Ground spell. This is an active ability that your hero has already learnt. It grants bonuses to your creatures for a certain period of time. Left click on the icon, and then left click on one of your creatures to activate it.

You can get detailed information on your creatures as well as enemy creatures by right clicking on them.

You can change the direction of your melee attacks. Move the attack cursor around the enemy creature and you will see that the cursor changes accordingly. Try to attack with your sentinels from a different angle.

Once you win you will see stats on how many creatures were defeated as well as how many creatures you lost.

This completes your objective of destroying the two wolf packs.
