Legend Of Zelda Skyward Sword Walkthrough Part 12 – Skyloft and The Lumpy Pumpkin
When you exit the temple one of the Kikwis will come out and tell you that they have all reunited. After all the talk, use the bird statue to return to the Sky. Once there Fi will point out the first Unlocked Goddess Chest (and any others you found in or around the Skyview Temple). Mark it with a beacon, gain some height and head over to Skyloft.
Fly over to the Goddess Statue and dive off it. Head inside and put in the piece of the tablet to open up a new hole in the clouds so you can reach the Eldin Volcano Chain. Once done, head back outside. Once you exit the area of the Goddess Statue, you will find someone looking for their child, Kukiel. This is the first of the gratitude crystal quest. These Gratitude Crystals are side quest you can complete which will serve as another means of upgrading some of Link's Equipment. Time for you to visit the Bazaar again after this. Repair and check in your Wooden or Banded Shield. Going into a Volcano is horrible for something flammable like that. If you have the rupees to spare, buy the Iron Shield (100 rupees) so you have something to work with while down in the Volcano. If you do not, it is not too concerning but it will put more onto dodging until you can get one.
If you got the Goddess Cube behind the Altar in the Skyview Temple, dive onto the roof of the Lump Pumpkin. Up there you will find a Gold Rupee, which is worth 300. Be sure you have the pouch space before you do this.Once on the island, look along the the right-hand side of the building to get a new pouch for your adventure gear. After that, head into the building. You can also get their special soup for 10 rupees, while hot it does the most healing. If you want the piece of heart ... it will cost you starting a side quest chain. Run up the stairs and roll into the railing twice. You will get the piece of heart and the owner's ire. To repay him you will need an empty bottle and the ability to run from here to the Skyloft Knight Commander in 5 minutes or less. It is not too tricky to pull off especially if you aim to go through the "boost rocks" to reach Skyloft Academy Training Hall quickly.
After that, head for the red beacon coming from the clouds to drop into the Eldin Volcano area.
