The Republic Trooper - Prologue
Chaos grips the Galactic Republic. Influential star systems break away
from the millennia-old alliance, angered over the Senate's treaty with
the Sith Empire. On the planet of ORD MANTELL, civil war erupts between loyal Republic
citizens and violent separatist extremists waging a campaign of terror
against their own people. Now, an elite young sergeant from the Republic's famous HAVOC SQUAD has
arrived to help defeat the separatists and restore peace to this
war-ravaged world....
The APC Driver announces that the walker is approaching Drelliad village on Ord Mantell. Scopes show small-arms fire and enemy movements in all quarters. Separatists are definitely moving on the objective. The Lieutenant next to you will introduce himself as Lieutenant Ben Kolos. Everyone in Havoc Squad calls him Gearbox. He tells you that the Separatists have nabbed a Republic bomb off a downed transport. A serious bomb, one of those orbital strike numbers. Ask him to tell you more about the bomb. He says that the bomb is designed to slag a huge city, so it could wipe this little island right off the map. You'll get a full op brief once you reach Fort Garnik.
Suddenly there is an explosion. An AP missile hits the ship. A shoulder launcher from somewhere in the village. Another hit kills the Driver. Backwater separatists aren't supposed to have armor-piercing missiles. They'll tear up every convoy that passes through here. Gearbox will stay and get this walker moving again. He wants you to disable the Separatists' missile launchers. The separatists will probably have their missile launchers piled together in a cache somewhere in the village, and you can bet that cache will be heavily guarded. He tells you to find the cache, disable the missile launchers and then double time back to the Walker.

Hit the Ground Running
You're the newest member of Havoc Squad, the most elite infantry unit in the Republic military. While traveling up to your first mission briefing on the war-torn world of Ord Mantell, separatists forces ambushed your armored personnel walker and disabled it with armor-piercing missiles.
Bex "Gearbox" Kolos, a veteran member of Havoc Squad, has ordered you to search Drelliad village nearby for a separatists missile launcher cache and to destroy it.
Exit the ship. Press M to vie the map. Make your way east towards the missile launcher cache. Make sure to cast Fortification on yourself to increase your endurance by 5% for 60 minutes. On the way, kill 10 Separatist forces such as Separatist Sympathizers, Heavy Gunners, and Scouts to complete the bonus mission "Dispatch the Separatist Forces". Be sure to loot glowing bodies for equipment by right clicking on them.
After destroying the Launcher Missile Cache, use your holocommunicator. Gearbox tells you the walker isn't going to be moving anytime soon. He tells you to head to Fort Garnik on foot. Your task now is to report to Commander Harron Tavus, the leader of Havoc Squad, in the Republic Command center. Open your map to see the waypoint, and head to the south, following the road to the fort. When you reach the fort, enter the Command Center. Speak with Private Farn, then enter the control room. Speak to Commander Tavus, Havoc's commanding officer. He will introduce you to the other members of the Squad: Second in Command Captain Zora, the squad's infiltration and assassination specialist, nicknamed "Wraith". Fuse. Lieutenant Vanto Bazren, who is an expert with every type of explosive in the known galaxy. Needles, Lieutenant Ryler Dorant. Needles is a medical genius. He is particularly adept at synthesizing powerful new combat stimulants and adrenals. Tavus will tell the others on how you were ranked first in the Academy in Forward Assault, Search and Destroy, and Advance Recon.
Tavus will now brief you. The reason you are all here is that a Republic transport, carrying among its cargo a ZR-57 orbital strike bomb, crashed into northern Avilatan six days ago. Recovery unit sent a team, but they were too late. Separatist forces had already stolen the transport's cargo, including the ZR-57 and fled. He would like you to look into one of the leads, a Republic spy named Bellis. Bellis reported making an important discovery, but he's in too deep to exfiltrate for a full report. Instead, you'll rendezvous with Bellis in a nearby village called Talloran. Tavus will make one last introduction, Lieutenant Aric Jorgan, an operations officer from the Republic's Ord Mantell Infantry Command. Lieutenant Jorgan is coordinating the efforts from here within the mission room in the base. Jorgan will be overseeing your op through the camera mounted on your armor, so he sees what you see. It's activated when you leave the fort.
This complete the mission "Hit the Ground Running" and begins the next mission, "The Spy".
