Saints Row The Third Walkthrough Part 27 – HTTP://DECKERS.DIE

Call Pierce to start this mission. He has you head over to Kinzie's hideout as they will shortly have the chair set up and ready for use. When you get there you are logged into the virtual world. After a few avatar changes you settle with something that has a built in arm cannon.

Keep heading forward to find the first trio of Deckers who are defending this realm. Head forward and to the left. After the next archway you have seven Deckers to deal with. Three are in front of you, two to the right and to the left. Charge up a blast for the duos to take them down quickly. Now keep moving forward.

Through the next archway you have seven scattered Deckers that need to be defeated. After that, follow the path to the right. As you get close to the archway another four Decker Defenders will appear on the other side. Blast them carefully to minimize the damage to yourself.

Head up the slope to the left. You have a trio materialize in front of you with a pair supporting them on the left. Blast them then head to the top of the ramp and go to the right. Another four will appear when you get to the top. Blast them and head on.

Head into the maze using the right-hand entrance. When you go inside six deckers will materialize and attack you. Matt will also slow you down so be sure The Boss is at full health before you cross that threshold. Head in and to the left. As you round the corner you will slow down again and likely have to face four defenders as well. Head around the bend to deal with three more defenders and one of their specialists. Charged shots are your best bet to take down the specialist in this world with the periodic slow downs. Now keep moving forward and around the next bend.

There awaits three more Defenders. Blast them then head to the left to reach the check point. There are six Deckers and two Specialists in this group. Keep to the halls to deal with the specialists easily.

When you make it to the checkpoint the style of gameplay … regresses. You need to make a series of choices to get through the text based part. You cannot fail it as you will simply restart at the beginning to try again.

The Sequence is:
1) Take A Torch
2) Keep Walking
3) Keep Walking
4) Kill The Unicorn
5) Exit The Game

You will reappear where you were with five Deckers ambushing you. They are backed up by a Specialist so blast her first then fire on the Deckers. You will revert to toilet form but you still have your gun so all is right in the world. Move on forward.

As you approach the archway more Deckers will appear with another Specialist. Blast the Specialist first again, then the Decker to the right of the archway, followed by any survivors. Now head up the ramp on the left. As you go up the ramp three more defenders will appear. One is on the ramp with you while there are two more to the left. Kill them then make it to the top of the ramp.

At the top of the ramp five more Deckers appear. Blast them then head through the archway on the right. On the other side of the archway you need to blast four Specialists while Matt lags you. Use mostly to full charged blast to kill them easily.

Once you beat the specialists in this area, the scene changes. You are playing the old Atari game Tank! You can actually move using Up and down to move forward and back with left and right to spin. Just focus on facing your opponent and shooting them repeatedly. You fire more and faster giving you the win.

On the other side of the game is another shoot out with the Deckers … as a blow-up doll with a blaster arm. Head forward and blast the two in front of you. Go to the left and face right to blast the other one there. Once you cross the midpoint of this platform you will see a Specialist and a Decker materialize. Again, a mostly to full charged blast will take care of the specialist easily. At the end of the platform, before you get to the ramp, there are four Deckers who will materialize. One will be on the raised platform the rest will be level with you. Blast them then go up the ramp they were guarding.

Again, on the ramp, two defenders will materialize. One on the ramp and one to the left. If there are any survivors from earlier to your right, now is a good time to fix that.

At the top you have a whole mess of Deckers to deal with, about a dozen and one Specialist. Matt will also reverse your controls periodically. This will keep you moving, just sometimes not the direction you want. It is worth noting this only affects movement, your right-stick is left alone completely. Blast them all to get an error screen.

On the error screen, honestly just hit any button to clear it away. Kinzie has your back. You will return to the action. Head on up the ramp in front of you. At the top you will encounter Matt's avatar, a very big demon with wings.

Matt Miller's Avatar
For something big, it is blissfully slow. Either take the slower method of just shooting with charged bursts or unload with fast shots. He will occasionally shrink you but as long as there is distance between the two of you, there is nothing to worry about.

When you take out a quarter of his health, a Quick Time Event (QTE) will start. Hit “A” then pull right trigger repeatedly. You will rip off his wings for your efforts.

He is not ground bound and will start with reversing your controls then slowing you down. Keep blasting him throughout. When he gets to half health he will be stunned so charge up to him and hit the prompted button. Once again, shoot him repeatedly to move on to the next phase of the fight.

Just a liuttle after that last QTE you will become a copy of Miller's avatar. It starts with numerous waves of Defenders. Use this time to get familiar with the controls and get mad respect. After that, you need to fight the refreshed Matt's Avatar but you and he have the same abilities (but you heal!). Lay into him with the sword and fire breath.

The battle finishes with one more QTE.

The whole affair ends with a choice: Discount on Car Parts (25%) or Discount on Weaponry (25%).
Weaponry is recommended as it gets increasingly expensive to upgrade your gear over the cover of the game.

The final cutscene of the mission is funny in its own way.

This mission cashes out for $12,000. It also unlocks the Cyberbuster in your weapons cache, adds the Mocap suit to your wardrobe, The Cyber Tank to your garage and your chosen discount.
