SWTOR Walkthrough - A Fighting Chance - Korriban - Sith Inquisitor

In the Sith Academy on Korriban, talk to Assistant Overseer Markan

He tells you: "Finally you arrive, as disgusting as Overseer Harkun said". Regardless, Lord Zash has made it clear that all new acolytes must learn martial skills as well as face their trials. Markan does not think you can be taught, though.

Your dialog choices will be:
Where do I need to go?
I don't like your attitude.
Tell me you aren't my teacher

There is no light or dark force points gain on any of those choices.

Don't be afraid of choosing the second or third option as it won't impact your quest. If you choose the third option, you tell Markan that you assume someone a bit more learned will be instructing you. Overseer Markan tells you that you will find the instructors in the Academy's archive. Hurry and try not to embarrass your betters.

Open the mission log:

A Fighting Chance
You have been told to report to the Sith Academy archives to receive training in your martial skills.

Go to the Sith Academy archives and speak to Sith Inquisitor trainer.



Locate the archives on the map, on the second floor of the Sith Academy. Take the stairs to the second level and find Lord Samus. Speak to him to complete the mission. You might have to click on the "Pending" message on the top right corner if the mission does not complete immediately.

Lord Samus is your trainer and as you level, come back to him regularly to check if he has any new skills to train you with.
