SWTOR Walkthrough - Experimental Needs - Korriban

You receive the mission "Experimental Needs" on Korriban while advancing as a Sith Warrior or Sith Inquisitor. This is a level 6 mission, but easily soloable even at level 4. Talk to Acolyte Krevan in the Lower Wilds Outskirts, which is to the far east of the Sith Academy.

Acolyte Krevan: Hey Friend, if you're headed out by the tuk'ata, Lord Varacen is paying actual credits for bone marrow samples. Varcen's doing some sort of experiment for Lord Renning. The less details we know, the better I'm sure.

This starts the mission "Experimental Needs":

Experimental Needs
Acolyte Krevan informed you that Lord Varacen is paying well for tuk'ata bone marrow samples. Kill tuk'ata in the outskirts surrounding the tomb of Marka Ragnos and extract their bone marrow.

Your task is to collect 5 Bone Marrow Samples from the Tukata Dens area. Open the map and locate the marker at the location. From where you got the quest, you will have to take the road Southwest. The best creatures to kill for this mission are Spitting Tuk'ata. Kill enough of them to gather five bone marrows. The drop rate is pretty high, but depending on your luck it might take ten or more to get all the samples you need.



Once you have gathered 5 bone marrow samples, your task will be to take them to Lord Varacen at the Wilds Laboratory. The laboratory is further southwest - you will recognize it by the big cages in the area. There is also a speeder station that can be unlocked there, on the top of the hill. Speak to Lord Varacen when you get there:

Lord Varacen: Ah, more bone marrow samples. Lord Renning will be pleased. You may go.

This completes the mission "Experimental Needs". For the reward, you get some credits, experience, and a piece of armor - usually (green) gloves, for me it was the Dark Acolyte's Gloves. You should now go and speak to Lord Renning who has a very interesting mission for you...
