The area will flood at the beginning of this episode, and you will have to swim your way out. The path to the exit is entirely linear, so you shouldn’t have any trouble following it to get to the large open area. Swim to the right and surface to get some much-needed oxygen. Jump down to the ladder and dive. Go to the right and through the door. You will be lead to another door, which you should go through as well. From here, swim up to reach a ladder and climb up.
Turn right and scan the
ground to reveal a case of ammo. Dive back into the water. Go to the bottom,
where you will find more ammo along with a door. Head through the door and
follow the path on the other side. As you swim down the path, your radio will
buzz and Chris will start talking to you. You will reach a locked door at the
end of the path. You can surface here to refill your oxygen before you have to
dive back down again. Go to the left and swim past the B.O.W that will emerge.
Turn to the left and take a breath. You will see a sort of gauntlet of enemies
swimming in the water. Dart past them all one at a time to find some Illegal
Custom Parts at the end. Grab them and dive through the hole in the middle of
the room.
This path will lead you
through a door. Upon passing through the door, swim up to find some Rifle ammo.
Climb out of the water. Walk to the other side and dive back into the water
again. This area is fairly large, but you really just want to head through one
of the doors in the middle of the area. Swim to the middle of the room and turn
to the right to find the door. Swim through the next door as well. Head up to
the surface to find some Custom Parts and take a breather. When you’re ready,
dive again and proceed through the other door. Heading to the right after
emerging from the door will take you to a break in the glass, which you can
swim through. Swim to the left to find another opening in the glass and swim
through here as well.
Stop here to surface for oxygen. Dive again and continue through the door, forward and to the right when you pass through. Hang another right to reach a ladder. Keep moving at the top of the ladder to reach a large, open area. In this room, you can swim to the surface. Climb out and look right to find a Green Herb. Walk through the double doors to find another Green Herb. Leave and climb the ladder into the shaft. Follow the shaft to collect an ammo box and then dive into the water yet again. Proceed straight across the submerged room to find a ladder. Climb it and the second ladder at its peak, making sure to scan the fan for Rifle ammo along the way. Open the door to trigger a cutscene.
The cutscene will trigger a very brief flashback to earlier on the Mediterranean Sea. You will have to fight a large B.O.W with powerful tentacles. Shoot the tentacles to damage it and avoid the objects that the creature will fling at you. Be sure not to overheat your gun while firing and you should be able to pass this section easily. Dealing enough damage to the B.O.W will trigger another cutscene.
After the cutscene ends, Jill and Chris will at last be reunited. Dive yet again into the water and head down two ladders. Swim across the area to find another ladder, which you should climb. Go through the shaft and jump down when you reach the end. You can scan the boxes to your left to receive some extra ammo. Get into the water again and dive all the way to the bottom. Along the way, pause to grab the Custom Parts that float in the middle. Keep going to reach a locked door, which you can open using the Veltro Key Card. Head through the door at the end of this path to reach another corridor. Swim to the left when it branches off and surface to get more oxygen.
Dive back down to find another door. Go through and go to the next door. An enemy will swim out to attack you as you approach the door. Avoid it and keep going. Head to your right, where you will find another ladder. Climb up and turn to the left. The next time you find a ladder, jump down. Chris will lead you through the next door and down the path. Proceed through the door at the end of the path and climb yet another ladder. Chris will hand you the Trident Key when you get to the top. Use it to unlock the door and activate the door inside. You will have to wait for it to unlock. Head through when the process is complete.
Go forward and to the right, through the opening in the broken glass. Turn right and scan the ground to collect a very useful item, the Pulse Grenade. You can also scan to corner at the top right of the room to find ammo. Go to the computer and activate it to put your fingerprints into the system. Now you can get into the laboratory. Head inside and scan down to the right to get a B.O.W Decoy and to the left to get Shotgun ammo. You can also pick up some Illegal Custom Parts and Machine Gun ammo, no scanning required. Scan the empty locker to find one of the hidden handprints.
As you attempt to walk through the door at the end of the hallway, a B.O.W will attack. It is armored, so you’ll have to shoot for the areas that aren’t covered by the armor in order to do damage. When the creature reveals its face, don’t hesitate to empty as much ammo as you can into it. Repeat this process until the enemy falls. Scan the ground in the next room to find some Illegal Custom Parts. Now go to the left and down the stairs to find ammo and a handprint located on the glass container. Go to the computer monitor and grab the Magnum L. Hawk. Get into the elevator and ride it up. Go forward just a little from the elevator and scan the object to the right. After scanning this, walk through the door to end the episode.
