Payday The Heist First World Bank Walkthrough

Everyone likes to make a spectacular entrance and this is going to be one for the books. Two cans of Thermite should be enought to make our own personal VIP entrance into the First World Bank Vault. After that it's just getting out with the cash...

2:15 PM, Downtown - First World Bank
Alright guys, good news and bad news.
We got a go from our insider...
He hid the thermite and a drill in the server room - but he bailed
The bank manager's got the key card to get in there - let's get it on

Your first objective is activated:
Enter the Bank (Lobby)

It will tell you to Press [F] to start the Heist. But don't do that yet.

Note: For Playstation users, wherever it says to press [F], substitute it with pressing R2

Enter the Bank, and find yourself in the lobby. Take caution not to go too close to the guards, they may see your gun. The vault is to the left, and the server room is upstairs to the right. but first, you need to find the manager.

Your objective now is:
Find the Bank Manager

Your instructions are: "Find the bank manager, then tie him down or shoot him and you'll get the key card. Destroy any security cameras that you see."

Search for the bank manager. There are several places he could be at. Search the lobby first, and the rooms near the lobby. If not there Go left and climb the stairs to upper hallways. Careful not to accidentally go through the metal detector or  you will be exposed. Search the manager's office, as well as the conference room, in the second floor.

 You will recognize the bank manager by the orange glow. Once you find him, Press "F" to start the heist. Either get him on the ground and tie his hands to get the key, or shoot him. Keep in mind that shooting civilians will result in a cash penalty, so try to avoid it when possible.

The silent alarm will be activated and you have to act fast. Your objective now:
Get the Drill & Thermite (Server Room)

You can use "F" to shout at civilians and keep them in check. Shoot or tie up any security guards attacking you, and also destroy any security cameras you see.

Get to the 2nd floor, and follow the yellow exclamation mark to reach the server room. Press "F" to use the keycard. The panel will change from blue to green and will say "access granted".

Your instructions will now be to pick up the drill and the thermite, it's all hidden inside the copy machine. Approach the copy machine and press F to open it. You will get the drill and a can of thermite.

Your objective now:
Start the Drill (Drill Area)

Head back down and go to the vault. Make sure the cops don't free any civilians, you need to control the civilians. Also keep in mind you need enough cable ties to tie them.

You will need hostages. Tie down civilians with [F] to take them hostage.

When you reach the Drill Area, hold [F] to place the Drill. A new objective will be activated:
Drill the Gates (Drill Area)

The insider sure delivered. Now keep an eye on the drill - it'll surely jam every once in a while.

The drill will say "Drilling in Progress" and give you the estimated time remaining in seconds. If the drill jams, the text will turn red. Hold [F] to restart the drill when that happens. It can randomly Jam a few times during the process

"Ok guy, let's get rid of the security footage. I'm activating the network backdoor. Hold on..."

Your objective will change to:
Erase the Security Footage (Management)

Go back up to the second floor and find the conference room. At this point, most likely, an assault will be underway. If you are wielding a pistol, switch to automatic weapon. You will most likely encounter a lot of cops, shoot them all. Make sure to loot them for ammo, because with all the shooting taking place, you will be running out of ammo fast.

Be sure to stay away from windows, as there will be snipers.

When you reach the conference room, access the computer that your contact has marked for you and use it to erase the security footage. Then go back down to the drill area and keep watching the drill. If it jams, you need to restart it.

Drilling will take a few minutes to complete, not including the jams.  While drilling, take cover and watch for any police that arrive. Special forces will also attempt to electrify your crew members.

When the drilling is done, the gate will open. Your contact will instruct you to go through the gates and head down the vault corridor, then find the counting room right above the vault door and pour out the Thermite.

Your objective:
Pour out the thermite to melt the floor (Above the Vault)

Head down the corridor. There will be several guards along the way, make sure to neutralize them all. Pour the thermite when you reach the room above the vault. If any of your team has another can, pour that too to speed up the melting process. If you do not have any cans of thermite, go back to the copy room to get it.

If you just poured one can of thermite, it will take longer to melt, but better to hold the fort then risk going back to the copier room.

The melting process will take a few minutes. Make sure to watch the corridor and kill any cops that approach. Listen for cues from your crew, who will say when it is halfway through, or when there are only a few seconds left. Once the floor is melted, jump down the hole.



Your objective now is:
Empty the Vault (Vault)

Your contact tells you to put a money bag on the floor by a tray of cash, then grab the cash. Follow the quest waypoints to get all the cash. There is some cash in the safes, some on tables. For the big piles, you will have to press and hold [F] to fill up your money bag. You will have to repeat this process many times until you have taken all of the cash.

Once you have taken all the cash, your objective will be:
Get through the Lobby

Go back through the corridor and out the gate where you drilled, then you want to get to the second floor, but don't do it through the stairs near the drilling area, as that side will be closed. Instead, run through the lobby to reach the other side and climb there. Be prepared for any waves of cops and special forces that might attack you.

Your contact briefs you on the escape plan. Go up to the server room, blow the wall and escape through the basement of the neighboring building.

As you approach your destination, your objective will change to:
Blow a hole in the wall (Management)

You will have to place three C4 charges on the wall, then move away and detonate the bombs.

Your objective is:
Escape (Basement)

Enter the hole you blew up into the adjacent second office building, then make your way to the basement, follow the corridors to arrive at the getaway vehicle. This will complete the First World Bank Heist.
