Talk to Trea Kobbeth inside a house in the Kalikori Village on Tython to start this mission. This is a level 6 quest.
Trea Kobbeth: Jedi! You cam! I was afraid - I didn't think you'd make it! You have to be fast. You have to find my son before he's hurt!
You can tell her:
Please Explain
Just Relax
Don't tell me what to do
Ask her to explain what's wrong with her son. She says she knelt at the temple gates begging for Jedi help, and if this is not why you came. The Flesh Raiders took Trea's son a week ago. They came at twilight. One of them was covered in blood and scars. They dragged her son away. The Kalikori scouts saw Viyo, her son, on Tythos Ridge. That's where the Raiders have their camp. They say he's hurt. He is bleeding and limping. But he is alive, waiting for rescue.
Tell her you will help her. She says that if you cannot find him on Tythos Ridge, you should look for a sign, something he'd leave behind as a signal. He had his satchel with him. He could leave that. The Flesh Raiders will try to stop you.

New Recruit
Trea Kobbeth, a Twi'lek Pilgrim in Kalikori village, has begged you to help rescue her son, Viyo, who was kidnapped by a Flesh Raider. He was last seen on Tythos Ridge, and may have left his satchel behind as a signal to any rescuers. Travel to Tythos Ridge and look for Viyo Kobbeth or his satchel.
Your first task is to find Viyo's Satchel.
Exit the house, then go south, following the path to Tythos Ridge. Watch the map for the destination marker. After a couple of minutes of traveling south on the road, you will leave the road and climb a mountain trail. There, you will find Viyo's Satchel on the path, near some tent. Examine it to advance the quest.
Viyo Kobbeth shows up, along with a Flesh Raider named Fashk Viyo tells you that Fashk wants to talk to you and is too weak to fight. Fashk needed someone to help him communicate, which is why he took Viyo away. Viyo has been trying to teach Fashk your language, like a translator. Fashk thinks he has power. He thinks he can use the Force, and he wants Jedi to train him.
Demand that Fashk first set Viyo free. Viyo tells you that the other Flesh Raiders serve Fashk because they fear his curse, but the Force overwhelms him. He needs to learn from the Jedi to control the power. Viyo further says that Fashk will not let him go unless you help him get into the Jedi Temple and have the masters train him.
You are presented with a Light/Dark Force conflict:
I'll try (LIGHT)
He has to die (DARK)
Light Choice
Sensitivity to the Force is an extremely rare trait. You agree to go to the temple and see what you can do. This gives you 50 Light Points. Viyo tells you that they can meet you outside the Flesh Raider's den. They will make camp along the path and watch for you. Your task now is to go talk to Master Strayen in the Jedi Temple. Fast Travel to the Jedi Temple and talk to Master Strayen on the second level. Tell him about the Flesh Raider who wants to be a Jedi. Master Strayen asks you if you are serious. His understanding is that those creatures are primitive, cruel and bloodthirsty. Not ideally prepared for the lifestyle of a Jedi. Tell him that is the exact reason we have to help it. If we want to change their ways, we have to start somewhere.
Master Strayen finally agrees, and tells you to send the recruit to the temple, and to give him a certain medallion so that the watchmen will know to grant him passage. Master Strayen will consult with the Jedi Council when he arrives.
You receive: Master Strayen's Medallion. Your task now is to light the Signal Fire. Find the destination waypoint on the map and travel there, to find the signal fire in the Tythos River Valley. Light the signal and Viyo and Fashk show up. Viyo thanks you for saving him and heads back to the village. Talk to Viyo's mother, who thanks you for what you have done and gives you the reward.
Dark Choice
Choosing this option, you tell Viyo that letting a Force-using Flesh Raider live is too dangerous. You kill Fashk, for 50 Dark Points. Viyo tells you he can find his way to the village on his own. Quick Travel to the Kalikori Village and speak with Trea Kobbeth. She thanks you that you found her son and is glad that the kidnapper is dead. Ask her about how Viyo is doing. She says that Viyo's scars are healing, and the Matriarch will tend to his mind. She promises that whenever the elders speak about the Jedi, she and her son will speak too. You get a Medium Credit Box and an item as your reward.
This concludes the mission, "New Recruit".
