Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning Walkthrough Part 32 – Echoes of the Past

Head south to the Caeled Coast. Turn to the west once you make it inside there to find the pier you are after. Expect a Bolgan Brute on the way. When you arrive at the destination, you will find Alyn Shir who explains that you are about to confront your murderer. Say what you wish about him and get ready to head off to the island research center. Step into the black swirling mass to get teleported there.

Once on Dannestar, talk with Alyn Shir again to start advancing the story. Head to the northwest then west to make it to the entrance of the tower. As you approach you will encounter 7 Sons of Laz at the bend in the path. Now just head up to the door into the tower.

Head to the west, going up the stairs on Alyn's trail. Defeat the 3 Sons of Laz that are just in front of you then go up the stairs to the right. At the top of them, head to the left and deal with the 2 Faer Gorta Sentinels that come at you.

Continue to the south, you and Alyn will separate at the next doorway. She explains that she will be holding off the Sons of Laz that are coming at you. You are expected to head up to retrieve Ventrinio. Head through the doorway. If you pull the nearby lever, you will release a Faer Gorta Sentinel that will come at you. Next turn East and go down the hallway there. Just ignore the Faer Gorta that is nearby and head up the stairs. Ventrinio will notice you just as you get to the top. Head into the next room and you are up against 4 more Sons of Laz. Loot the room thoroughly as there is a note on the Sons of Laz in the Upper right corner next to a chest (as there is a chest in the lower left corner).

Head up the stairs to the North and West through the door. At the top of the stairs is another Son of Laz. Kill him then follow the path forward, North. Stop and investigate the next patch where some rubble falls from the ceiling. You will find another interesting note. Just continue along the path after that. As the path bends, you will find 3 more Sons of Laz coming at you. Deal with them and ascend the stairs past the hallway beyond them to the West.

In the next room, you have 3 Sons of Laz as well as 4 Faer Gorta. Defeat them and turn to the southwest to get into the next room. In there you will find 3 Ancient Leanashe and 3 Faer Gorta. Continue as far West as you can then turn south and follow that path as bends to the East. Stop in the room before Ventrinio to find another note to the left of a chest on the northern end of this room. Just head forward to find the Gnome you are looking for. You can talk with him and learn just what killed you and you have a chance to explain how you came back if you choose.

Once the conversation finishes, 2 Sons of Laz and 2 Faer Gorta attack you and Ventrinio. The second wave has 5 Sons of Laz who appear next to the “Well of Souls”. The third wave has some Sons of Laz who reanimate before you and 3 Ancient Leanashe. After that, the tower itself begins to collapse. The scene fades to black and you are outside once again. Talk with Ventrinio to finish out the quest. Take the options to learn more about your death and get a few items while you are at it.
