Tales of Graces F Walkthrough Part 38 – Snowshroud Ruins, The Fendel Cannon
Immediately on entering you can access the skit, “Am Not. Am Too!”. Head straight through the door in front of you. Inside this room, use the console in front of you to return power to the building. Head back out and go to the West and North. As you reach the door here, check on the machine in front of it to return power to the door by rotating it over to it. Head on through the door after that. Inside you will find a chest with 3 Grape Gels inside it.
Head out and to the West, using the nearby stairs and cross over to the other side. Head through the door here after you return power to it. Inside here you will find a chest on the wall. Investigate it for the “Yearning for Home” discovery and the skit, “Hometown Hero”. Now head back up the stairs and through the door in the middle of the room.
Head immediately to the West and open the chest there. It contains Tiger's Essence for Malik. Now go up the stairs to the next landing. Here, rotate the Power Switch so it faces the stairs going East. Head up them and into the next room. Inside there you will find a chest with a Mythril Tunic inside it. Collect it then return to the base of the stairs. Twist the Power Switch to face North and open the door there.
Head through the corridor to the next room. There you will want to first turn the Power to the West and head through the door there. In the second room you will find a chest with a Curse Charm inside it. Now head back to the intersection and redirect the power to the East. Turn the Power to the East in this room as well and head into the other Eastern room. In here you can collect a Dangerous Liquid from the chest. Now head back to the previous room and direct the Power to the North. Head through the back left door.
Head North for the next two rooms. When you reach the room with stairs, head up the first set, then go East. Hang below the stairs to get at the chest with Google inside it. Now head up the stairs to the East. Follow the corridor to the mechanism between the two doors. Interact with it to lower it into the floor and gain access to both doors. Take a moment and go to the end of the hallway, to the chest there. Inside it you will find 660 units of eleth.
Head through the door on the East first. Rotate the Power Switch to the East and continue on through. In the second room, rotate the Power first to the East to collect the Earthen Pot in the side room. Now head back to the previous room and rotate the Power to the North. Head through the back West door. Rotate the Power to the North in this room as well. In the next room, rotate the Power to the West. Head over past the center of the room to the second Power switch to the West. Rotate it to the East. Now head all the way back South to where there were the pair of doors.
This time head through the Western Door. Turn the Power in the second room to the West and head through that door. You will want to do the same in the following room. Head into this side room and investigate the pile of scrap in the Northwest corner of it. This gives the “Mechanical Scrapyard” discovery, a bit of Rare Metal and the skit, “Bonus Goal”. Now head back to the East and turn the Power to the East as well. Head through to the next room and turn the power to the North. Head through to the next room. If you already adjusted the Power Switch, you can just head through the next part. Otherwise, turn this Power Switch to the East. Now go through the Northern Door.
A room full of Power Switches is what you will find in the next room. Head to the Southwest corner first to collect the contents of the chest: Book of Growth. This book increases the Eleth Capacity of your mixer when it is set to it. Handy for a longer trek. In the Northeastern corner of the room you will find a Save Point. Approach it for the skit, “Not Exactly Our Forte'.
Now, go to the first Power Switch you encountered in this room, by the entrance. Turn it to the North. Follow the charged line to the Northwest. Turn this Power Switch to the North, as there is nothing but an encounter in the room to the West. Follow the charged line again to the next Power Switch to the Northeast of the last one. Rotate it East to bring the charge to the final Power Switch on this side. Turn this one to the North to get some juice into the door there.
Now head for the Southern part of the room and go to the Power Switch next to the first one you used in this room. First, rotate this Power Switch to the East and do the same for the one it feeds to. Head into this side room to collect a Magical Ribbon from the chest. Now head back to the second starting Power Switch and rotating it to the North. Follow the charge and rotate the next Power Switch to the East. Turn the third Power Switch in the sequence to the North. Use the Save Point as you are coming up on a Boss. Head through the new open doors and you will come face to face with your adversary.
Polycarpus
Weaknesses: Machine, Impact, Paralysis
The good news is this thing loves to target individuals. The bad news is high defenses. Still, focus on using Paralysis attacks and this becomes a much easier battle, if somewhat lengthy. Alter the party so they are using the Polycarpus' weaknesses.
Save, warp out and exit the Ruins. There are a few monster waiting when you emerge from the Ruins. Head over to the Save Point so you can access the skit, “It's a Secret to Everybody”. Take the Turtlez Transport to the North Lhant Road.
North Lhant Road
Head South to the Seaside Cavern and go for the section of wall that you opened a while back. As you enter the area where the Wall Entrance is, you will gain access to the skit, “Fodrabound”. Head toward the wall for a scene with Poisson. Now head into the Shuttle Cavern. There is another scene inside there. After scene, head back to the North to return to the Shuttle Cavern. After the next scene, head out to the Seaside Cavern then go North toward North Lhant Road. When you reach the chamber you fought Queen Slime in, you will encounter the monsters. Win the fight for yet another cutscene after which you are transported to the Wall Entrance of the Shuttle Cavern. Head on into the Shuttle Cavern in a hurry. An animated scene runs as the group is launched in the Shuttle out of the Aquasphere.
