The problem is that the Oscorp guards catch up at this point and start shooting at her. There are about 11 guards to deal with, scattered and appearing throughout the room. The best way to handle them is to move around using the Web Rush. This sets up for very easy Web Strikes which can end a combat quickly. Any time you can quickly knock them over the railing is a time you do not have to web someone down or directly knock them out.

Once everything is dealt with, in terms of the guards, head back to Whitney. She will find the tablet computer they are both looking. The problem is she gets nicks by a bullet before too long. Get over to the side of the container she is on and collect it. Start Web Swinging straight ahead to get moving on out of there. Head forward through the first room and then over to the left, using the Web Swing Ascend to gain the altitude you need to reach the platform.

Head through the door onto the walkway. Press the prompted button to look at a doorway on the ground to your left. Head on over toward it to find the elevator you need to start getting out. The problem is a Heavy Weapons Guard comes in, the Colonel. When you have control of Spider-Man again, immediately Web Retreat. It is very simple to get behind him and quickly use a Stealth Takedown to ensure he will not be a problem for you.

After the fight is done, collect Whitney and take her over to the elevator again. She will make a deal with you for the tablet: take pictures. She is willing to work in your favor here. This will open up the photo challenges on the New York Map.

Once the cutscene is over, get ready to move. Oscorp is not happy someone broke in and was snooping around. The problem is they are gunning hard for you. Just Web Rush away and you will shake them before long. After that, it is up to you to get back to your apartment. Still, take some time to deal with some petty crime, comic book pages and photos for extra experience to bolster your abilities.

Take some time talk with Gwen, to learn that Smythe answered the call instead. He is working on a nanobot cure that will kill the host of the infection. He gives you two a challenge, to see if they can complete their serum before the nanobots are complete. Talk with Connors to learn a little more then head out the window.
