We get it. Fighting games can be one tough cookie to crack, especially those developed by Japanese fighting fanatics Arc System Works. With Persona 4 Arena, the developer has taken a few steps to minimize confusion when dipping one's feet into this new release, but for fighting newbies or those who are only picking up the game to fuel their Persona fandom, it can still be a daunting task to overcome all of the systems at work in P4A. (Moves are listed first by their PS3 controls, then their Xbox 360 counterparts)
(The commands listed here assume that the character is facing towards the right. The commands will be reversed when the character is facing to the left.)

• Furious Action: Shield of Justice: Pull this move off by hitting X or A + O or B when an opponent is attacking you
• Skill: Double Fangs: Hit upwards right on the D-Pad plus the Square or X button. Alternately, you can hit upwards right on the D-Pad and the X or A button to get the same result
• Skill: Aim: Hit upwards and left on the D-Pad plus Square or X. Alternately, you can hit upwards left on the D-Pad and the X or A button to get the same result
• Skill: Snipe (Front, Ricochet, Anti-Air): After you have aimed using the above combo, hit Triangle, O or Square, or Y, B or X buttons on the 360
  
• Skill: Cancel Aim: After you have aimed using the above combo, hit O or B. Alternately, you can hit upwards and left on the D-Pad and Square or X to cancel your aim and return to basic combat
  
• Skill: Hair Trigger Megido: Hit upwards and to the left plus the Triangle or the Y button. Alternatively, you can hit upwards and to the left plus the O or the B button
  
• SP Skill: Anti-S SP Pistol A: Quickly tap upwards to the right on the D-Pad twice in succession, plus Square or X
• SP Skill: Anti-S SP Pistol B: Quickly tap upwards to the right on the D-Pad twice in succession, plus X or A
• SP Skill: Hamaon: Quickly tap upwards to the right on the D-Pad twice in succession, plus Triangle or Y
• SP Skill: Mudoon: Quickly tap upwards to the right on the D-Pad twice in succession, plus O or B
• Awakened SP Skill: Raid: Quickly tap upwards and to the left plus Square or X and quickly follow it up with Square or X again. Alternately, you can also hit upwards and to the left plus X or A, and then quickly follow it up with X or A again
• Awakened SP Skill: Critical Shot: Quickly tap upwards and to the left plus Square or X and quickly follow it up with Triangle or Y. Alternately, you can also hit upwards and to the left plus Square or X, and then quickly follow it up with O or B
