Torchlight 2 Walkthrough Part 22: The Power Source

Now that you've gained access to the Emberworks, you'll want to take a moment to prepare yourself. This area is full of artifact creatures made by the Dwarves. The Dwarven Battle Turrets are by far the most annoying of these enemies, as they can hit you for big damage from quite the distance. Close the distance fast when you are faced with these things, and strike quickly and decisively. They should always be your first priority when you enter battle if they are present. On the other hand, if you find yourself up against multiple turrets, you will have to use some fancy footwork to confuse them. Getting caught in the crossfire of two or more turrets can spell instant death, so you'll have to be smart about how you pick these things off when you encounter multiples of them. Try attacking from a distance yourself, all while maintaing constant movement. Never stop shifting your position when you fight these nasty turrets.

As you progress through the dungeon, you will encounter steam jets that occasionally block your path. Like most of the geometry in the dungeons, this stuff is randomized, so it's impossible to tell when exactly one will come up and block your path. There's always a way to get around, though, so when you encounter the steam be on the lookout for nearby valves that will shut the steam off.

Similarly, forcefields will sometimes impede your progress here. Just like with the steam valves, you will have to look around the immediate area for a lever, which will disable the forcefield and free up the path ahead.

Your waypoint will lead you to the War Titan boss. This guy is super heavily armored, and has tons of HP to boot. This battle will be a slow mess of chipping away the boss' health. If you have anything that can break armor, it'll prove pretty helpful here.

The War Titan will sometimes summon Shield Turrets into the area. Destroy these as soon as you see them; the War Titan will be invincible as long as the Shield Turrent remains up.

When the boss is dead, pick up the recharge and head back to the Imperial Camp once again.
