Don’t expect to settle in right away, though. Keiji immediately shows up with a casual greeting, startling you. He immediately takes note of your transformation (which Oichi remains enthusiastic about) and agrees with her that this is a good thing. In celebration, he gives you a set of the basic element stones- a Fire Stone, a Thunder Stone, and a Water Stone. He also explains that if you give one of those to a pokemon and then send it into battle, you might get to see ‘something special’- an evolution. Chances are, of course, you’ve already used this with a few pokemon, but he apparently doesn’t know that.
Keiji then tells you that you’re starting to look rather impressive, and so he isn’t going to be giving you more advice- and actually he has to be going, so if you’ll just excuse him...
Now it’s time to save and complete the month. Perhaps distressingly, you won’t have gained any new Warriors from this battle- so you may find yourself a bit short of Rock-types in your army for a while. This marks it as particularly important that you take your time to develop forces in between castle sieges, so that you can make sure to keep up your army’s variety as well as its strength. Pay especial attention to Terrera and Pugilis, since these are the two castles where you’re most likely to have already been encountering both Rock-type pokemon and Warriors who work well with Rock-types. Up until Terrera you were only likely to see Onix in Rock-types, and Onix is sadly unimpressive for a gigantic snake made of boulders. Terrera gives you a few new things in Rhyhorn and Larvitar, but Rhyhorn’s final evolution, Rhyperior, is a bit difficult to accomplish and has a staggeringly poor attack in Rock Wrecker.
If you haven’t done anything this month other than assault Cragspur, this may well give you a chance to add a Warrior or two to your roster who will want to head there during the next month.
Keiji’s stones are also important to finishing out the month- it’s unlikely you were able to snag more than two or three stones from the Rare Item Merchant when he passed through, so this will be a good opportunity to accomplish any evolutions you left undone- elemental monkeys are a passable investment, but evolving your Eevee would be a strong choice if you haven’t done it yet.
With the game saved and the month finished out, you’ve completed your next conquest. Congratulations on starting your campaign against Nobunaga!
