In the latter half of the game this gun is dirt common. It is a modified version fo the Huntsman that fires 3 shot burst instead of a single bullet. This makes it much better to aim for the center of the body opposed to going for head shots (save at close range). This can work as a good stand-in gun until you can get another which you prefer more.
Vox Triple R Repeater
Minimum Damage: 170 Upgrades:
Maximum Damage: 230 Damage Boost 1: N/A: +25% Damage (N/A)
Critical Multiplier: 2 Damage Boost 2: $416: +25% Damage (Downtown Emporia)
RPM: 350 Recoil Decrease: $711: -50% Recoi (Emporia)
Magazine Capacity: 20 Clip Increase: $449: +20 to Clip (Downtown Emporia)
Reserve: 60
The Vox have increased the damage From the Triple R Repeater. It, by default, comes with the first damage upgrade. This unfortunately means that it fires slower than the normal Triple R but the damage boost makes up for it. In a sense, it is better to think of this gun as a more pwerful Carbine than a Repeater. It much takes the place of the Triple R as a common weapon you will be finding. Mix this with your Vigors on Heavy Hitters and you can get them to fall without much trouble at all.
Vox Pig Hail Fire
Minimum Damage: 580 Upgrades:
Maximum Damage: 820 Damage Boost 1: N/A: +25% Damage (N/A)
Critical Multiplier: N/A Damage Boost 2: $688: +25% Damage (Downtown Emporia)
RPM: 545 Radius Increase: $415: +100% Radius (Downtown Emporia)
Magazine Capacity: 5 Clip Increase: $399: +3 to Clip (Downtown Emporia)
Reserve: 25
The Vox have taken the Pig Hail and turn it into a true grenade launcher. It will fire its projectile, which can bounce off walls, and will explode on contact or just explode mid-air. Just what is fired is determined by how you fire this weapon. Tapping the trigger will launch a shot that will bounce until it hits its target. If you hold the fire button this shot will bounce until you release the trigger. This makes it great for firing around your enemy's cover to detonate on them and maximize the damage. It is hard to find ammo for this gun so use it sparingly if you want to make the most of it. The Dollar Bill Vending Machines become your best friend if you want to use it a lot.
The Heater
Minimum Damage: 1360 Upgrades:
Maximum Damage: 1840 Damage Boost 1: N/A: +25% Damage (N/A)
Critical Multiplier: 1.5 Damage Boost 2: $554: +25% Damage (Downtown Emporia)
RPM: 35 Spread Increase: $467: + 20% Spread (Downtown Emporia)
Magazine Capacity: 1 Reload Increase: $752: +50% Reload Speed (Emporia)
Reserve: 8
This is what happens when something thinks to make a flamethrower out of a shotgun. The range is crap but anything that is close by will either die outright or burn to death shortly after. Keeping that in mind you will want to be careful using this thing when a heavy hitter is up close. It will hurt them but the fire can easily spread over to Booker without much trouble if they get close enough to him. It is important to note that ammo for the Heater is very scarce. This means to use it regularly you will want to hit Dollar Bill Vending Machines whenever possible.
