Bioshock Infinite Gear: Hats
Introduction
If there is one thing that is important to note here it is the randomness of the gear you will find. As you explore Columbia each time, you will find different gear inside the gear boxes. This will open up a wide variety of situations you can adapt to without much trouble. The more you have the more you can use to your advantage.
When it comes to actually using your gear then you need to think about how you are playing. If you are getting into numerous scraps then focus on things that grant you advantages when using melee. If you shoot first then focus on reload and boosts to gun damage. Finally, if you favor Vigors then you need to think about what augments those abilities: spreading the effects on a kill, reducing costs, increasing damage etc.
Hats
Hill Runner's Hat:
Shield breaking increases movement by 50% for 5 seconds.
Ammo Cap:
While shooting, empty clips have a 40% chance of automatically refilling without having to reload.
Sheltered Life:
Grants brief invulnerability after gaining health from snacks and medical kits.
Gear Head:
Makes Booker harder to detect by automatons, zeppelins and Motorized Patriots.
Storm:
Killing with Devil's Kiss, Shock Jockey or Bucking Bronco causes the vigor's effects to chain to nearby enemies.
Throttle Control:
Increased Throttle and braking control on Sky-Lines.
Quick Handed:
Decrease weapon reload times by 30%.
Electric Touch:
50% Chance that a melee target is stunned for 3 seconds, leaving them vulnerable.
