Through the door Rex will find more Cyber-Soldiers to deal with. Duck over to the side and use the Cyber-Eye to get better bearings on where they all are. There are 6 soldiers in this room to start. Once they are down you will need to be checking your fire. The corpses in the pods, the containment units, will release the Running Dead. This means more chargers that will just close in and start hitting you. You can also head for the center of this level to find the alarm control panel. Interact with it to disable the alarms in this area. This makes things a lot easier in the future.
When you have dealt with the Cyber-Soldiers head over to the left from the door you came through. Move forward through the 2 doorways and over to the stairs in the corner of the room. Take them up to the upper level in this room. Once there slowly make your way over to the marker which is on the opposite side of the room. Just cross over using the walkways. It is nothing too bad for now. Things are going to change soon enough.
When you make it to the next door, a 2 minute timer will start. You need to survive until Dr. Darling opens the door. Head into the next room where you have 6 enemy Cyber-Soldiers to deal with: 2 are close to the door giving you a nice starting take down. Behind them though is a Flamer Unit so Rex will need to be cautious of that one. Deal with the Flamer Unit then focus in on the remaining soldiers. There are a good number scattered throughout the room so find a good perch and deal with them. Alternatively Rex can charge them but be careful. Once the door is open you can head through and it will seal behind Rex.
Beyond the door head on down the hallway. Turn to the right, deal with the single soldier who shows up in front of Rex. With the soldier out of the way go forward to the left and find the store. Restock on ammo and other supplies then head over to the left. Go on down the ramp and through the next door. Dr. Carlyle will come in over the intercom and tell you about the hazard of stray shots in this room: The Running Dead. Nothing too new here but the AI does tell Rex how to use the Running Dead as a weapon against the Omega Forces. Simply shoot the container and lead the unleashed Zombie over to the Cyber-Soldiers. Turn left when you can and head on down the corridor. Keep low and move carefully as it leads to a big room with a number of Cyber-Soldiers inside.
With that in mind head for the small bits of cover found at the end of the hallway. Move into the big room and the HUD will inform you that the objective is to simply cross the room. You can manage to stealth it easily enough with some thrown dice. If you want to fight through then start with a chain takedown on the 2 Cyber-Soldiers in front of you. This will summon a number more from, the side rooms for you to deal with. Make your way up the ramp to the upper level of this area. Get through the final traces of Carlyle's forces. If you need help then shoot out any of the containment units. Just be careful as in this room it is a lot of Blood Dragons. Also be aware in the upper level you will encounter a Flamer Unit. Aside from that just head for the marker and fight through the various Cyber-Soldiers. Go on through the hallway and down the stairs. You will be closing on the next doorway. There are a few more Cyber-Soldiers and another Flamer Unit to kill. Deal with them and make for the doorway.
