Dead Island: Riptide Walkthrough Part 57 – Mistakes Were Made (The Crash: Fort Tower)

Head on out of the room with the pilot. Go over to the right and to the barred door. Interact with it to remove the pipe jamming it. With that done head on up the stairs. At the top go left and then head on out the door to the left. This will bring you back outside. Once outside it is time to head for the Tower of the fort to see if you can find Serpo alone.

Head on up the stairs and go straight across the courtyard with the helicopter wreckage. Go over to the right on the far side of the wreckage and up the ladder you find at the top of the short set of stairs. Head over to the East and down the next ladder. Cross the rampart to make it to the tower door. Interact with it to get inside.

Once inside turn a little to the right. Look on the crate opposite you to find a Gun Mod and more to the right: a Work Bench. From there just head on through the gateway to the left of the Work Bench then up the stairs in the room behind it. Head on outside and look to the right immediately. You will find Frank Serpo wounded there. He is still standing. Talk with to learn just what Harlow has been up to. From there it is a simple matter of listening to him.

After the cutscene head on down to the base of the tower. There you will find the rest of the group. Take some time to talk with them and gather up supplies again. Harlow has gone into the Quarantine Zone in search of Data and a boat to get away from the island.
