Heart of the Swarm Campaign- Skygeirr: Hand of Darkness (Part 2)

Kerrigan will soon point out that the Dominion have captured one of the huge brutalisk units that cannot normally be morphed or mutated- if you can bring her to an appropriate position, she can gain control of it, adding the monster to your forces.  As an added bonus, there is a second brutalisk here as well- and these are the source of the additional Kerrigan levels you can gain here.

Due West of your initial outpost, on the edge of the map, is one of the main sources of the Terran attacks.  This command center is protected by a number of missile turrets and production facilities- and at least five siege tanks.  While you stand to lose a lot of forces taking it, the added minerals are nothing to sneeze at and the fact that there is only one ramp leading to it makes the position highly defensible.  Consider taking it, if you can stand suffering slower action during the initial parts of the mission in exchange for a much faster troop buildup and easier time replacing lost forces later on.

The next Hybrid awakening will soon be accompanied by an assault on your base, this time involving vikings and siege tanks- be ready with an attack force, as the computer is wise enough to plant the siege tanks out of range of any static defenses you can put up.

The second Hybrid of the three to awaken is to the Northwest.  This is not only across a narrow hallway from where the first brutalisk is, guarded only lightly by some firebats and assorted light troops, but also just beside yet another good source of minerals.  This tertiary outpost location has a smaller resource base than your main location or the base you can evict on the West edge of the map, but it also is only defended by a bunker and a barracks in addition to the few foot troops.  Taking them out and adding these resources to your own is even less of a slowdown than going after the large base in the West, and the added resource production will have a huge impact on your assault force's sustainability.
