Remember Me Walkthrough Part 20 – Episode 4: Panoptic Icon (Prison Courtyard to Madame)
Head on out through the door and across the hall into the Storage room. Inside there to the right of the entrance is a Mnesist Memory: “Madame”. With that in tow head for the other door in the room just outside the Interrogation chamber. This will take you into the Courtyard. Here Edge will give Nilin more instructions as to what to do.
Head straight across this small courtyard and use the Spammer to open the door. Once inside go over to the left and through the next door. Nilin is introduced to the third kind of robot: Nephilim. These lack any ranged sort of attack but instead opt for a Jump Pound, Exploding Shield approach to combat. Whenever the Nephilim leaps at Nilin pay attention to the reticule that appears on the ground. This shows where it is going to land. After that immediately dodge, throw in a second as a second, as a larger radial is displayed. The Nephilim is moving into its burst-shield attack at that point. It is only after that burst that Nilin can start shooting it with either a Junk Bolt or Spammer Shots. It takes 2 Junk Bolts to destroy a Nephilim but that is not too hard to pull off overall.
The first part of the fight is simply as Nilin only has 1 Nephilim and 2 Prison Enforcers to deal with. Defeat the Nephilim then focus on the Enforcers to save yourself some time. As the second round starts Nilin remembers another of her S-PRessens: Rust In Pieces. You are prompted to target one of the Nephilim immediately. Doing this will cause it to reserve some of how its explosive shield works. It will now draw in nearby enemies then explode with them clung to it. This is a great tactic to deal with larger groups when a Nephilim is around. Round 3 will start after the Enforcers and the remaining Nephilim are defeated.
The third part of this fight has a Seraphim flying around. If you have the focus then use Sensen DOS is Rust In Pieces is still on cooldown. It will stun the Seraphim and make it a lot easier to take down as the Enforcers are also dazed. Alternatively you can use a Logic Bomb on the guards as the fight starts, then focus on building more Focus with a Cooldown Chain to take over one of the Seraphim. The sooner the fliers go down or the ground forces thin the better.
Exit the Courtyard through either door and head over to the right. Ignore the Remembrane to the left for now as there is something to find first. Down at the end of the hallway is a Mnesist Memory: “'Valet' Robots”. It sits on the crate you see at the end of the hall on the left-hand side. Now head for the Remembrane as the Madam and Vaughan have a little talk. At the end of it head on up the stairs toward the next Remembrane but do not use it just yet. You see how the hallway forks in front of you. Down each of those is a Scaramech. Head down the left-hand and right-hand fork to a room at the end of each. Look to the left upon entering each room and you will find a Scaramech near the ceiling. Collect them both then go to the Remembrane
Interact with the Remembrane and be ready to target and Synchronize with Madame. If you go down the left-hand path you will find she had laid a double in her memory for Nilin in case of this occurrence. Quickly head over to the right-hand side and Synchronize with that Madame to be allowed to progress forward. If you were not quick enough then simply reactivate the Remembrane and head down the right-hand path and Synchronize with it. Go on through from there.
