Deadpool Walkthrough Part 1 – Home Sweet Home (Apartment to Sewer Training)

Things start with Deadpool just watching TV. Take some time to simply listen to what the Voices have to say. While not informative, strictly speaking, it helps build the character. After a while move Forward to get Deadpool up off the chair. Follow that up with interacting with the TV for the abbreviated history of Deadpool. Eventually someone will knock on the door. Head over there and hit whatever button you want for whatever reaction. Deadpool reveals the script for the game he “commissioned” from High Moon Studios. He goes over it some and starts making changes.

Game play resumes with Deadpool in a sewer. Time for the tutorial bit. Hit the prompted buttons to learn about your basic melee attacks, how to combo them and jumping. From there you will have a few guards to test out your combos on. Take them down. After that you are shown how to teleport around and how to counter-attack. Deal with the second round of enemies.

After you have killed off the second wave of enemies you are given a crate. Go over to it and interact with it. Deadpool opens it up to reveal a deflated bouncy castle. Hit the jump button rapidly to inflate it. With that task done head into it and start jumping around. When you are done with the castle just hop off it and head on out of the initial around by going around the castle and through the now open Gateway. You have unlocked new upgrades for your katanas.

Head on down the tunnel in front of you. From there you will find an open drain going down. Just head on down it because the Voices say Deadpool does not take falling damage. When you lead follow the blue glowing eggs. Move up behind him and hit the prompted button for a “stealth” kill. After that search around the area ahead to find a number of tokens that adds more DP Points. After that hit “Back”(360)/”Select”(PS3) to open up the progression menu. Go for whatever upgrade you want. Greedy is a good choice.

After taking a look head over to the left and go on up the stairs to get to a higher point here. Head on up to the second landing. Go all the way over to the left to find more DP Points then head to the offshoot going over to the right. Jump up onto the step, grab the DP Points then keep going over to the right. Go over to the wall to the right to find more DP Points. Go to the left after that and start up the next set of stairs. Go all the way over to the opposite side of the massive pipe going up to find more DP Points. Grab them then head to the middle of the walkway and cross onto the horizontal pipe in front of you.

Go to the end of it and jump up to the next platform above you. Hit jump as you to get wall that fell in front of you to perform a wall jump. Use a Double-Jump to jump across the gap and collect more DP Points. Head over to the right from there and up the next set of stairs, going even higher. Continue over to the close together walls. Now you need to chain a series of wall jumps to climb up and get to the top of the shaft. Head over to the left and go toward the gap in the railing. You need to Double-Jump across the gap to get over to the far walkway. Go over to the right and then follow the prompted instruction to mantle up the ledge to the platform above (Double-Jump recommended). Just go up the next ledge and over to the ladder. Interact with it and Deadpool will blast the top off the sewers and get you into the next part.
